yes!! Tori is the queen of always having dynamic, surprising setlists that change from night to night- wish Lana would do the same!

Man every new album release since ADP I am hoping to be drawn into Tori’s newer music and it just hasn’t happened. As with every new release I will give a listen when it releases to see if I’m back on board but at this point it’s unlikely. however I am v excited by the possibility of a tour next year!

Brooklyn Baby vs. Arcadia

I didn’t particularly like her pre-Grammys look last time she attended, and I think her make up didn’t look great either (ditto actual Grammys). She didn’t look BAD- she really never does- but I thought the whole look was too basic- give me Gucci over-the-topness any day!

sadly I think white dress is prob off the docket bc of the v high vocals, unless she adapts it for live performance. I think COCC, TJF, WAH, NAWWAL, LMLYLAW, DBJAG & Yosemite all stand a decent chance of making it on the setlist (not all together, but at least one or two of those). I don’t think For Free will make a comeback since she did it every night of the NFR tour. wildflower wildfire is so personal that I can’t imagine it live, but I guess u never know. I could def see BB and text book and Arcadia on a setlist, and I would absolutely die for her to play cherry blossom live. all that said she’d have to majorly revise the way she does setlists- ie finally kick out most of those old ass BTD songs- for any of these songs to stand a chance. I really hope we get a BB tour next year- I think it’s somewhat likely that she does at least a few dates, even if it’s just festivals next summer.

Happy birthday to this gorgeous piece of artistry!! It gave us some of my very fav Lana songs, like HM, TLY, Freak, Art Deco, Salvatore & Blackest Day. HM I did you dirty when I ignored you upon initial release, but rediscovered it while I was teaching in Italy for three months and I will forever associate it with wandering the Uffizi and looking at art from hundreds of years ago. I love when Lana works in the realm of jazz and this is the apex. Long love Honeymoon!
