I understand the concern regarding her privacy, but she said all we need to know in an interview, it's not secret information. That said, it's not unusual for musicians, especially those with newfound fame and on the road for so long to get depressed, so no need to speculate further on it imo.

Coutrney Love has a song called Pacific Coast Highway...
-
It is the only song of hers I truly dislike...
-
Well she never can tell the release date of her own albums…

Well the speech pattern suggests not a very healthy individual. She attracts these types I think because she has always had an enigmatic quality to her so it fries up the brains of some I guess…

Great choices imo! Also, The best (subjective, of course) and most loved are different things in my mind. I used to listen to grunge heavily and my favorite band was Nirvana but I admitted other bands like AIC or Soundgarden could be regarded higher musically when my friends didn’t agree with my choice. But I, completely subjectively, loved them the most.

It’s an all right song in my opinion, nothing too special for me. I usually like her high register but it sounds to me as if she has changed the way she uses it for a few years and while it still sounds good to me, it also sounds a bit generic. Then again, even « Beautiful » grew on me, so I might start really liking this soon who knows.

I think about his hands more often than I should. 😐

Pyramid Song is awesome, that would be a dream. Radiohead’s pursuit was a bit relentless, but I remember like she said they were a one-hit-wonder or something, which made me uncomfortable a bit since they’re one of the greatest bands ever. Dawn Chorus… can’t even imagine how wonderful that would be.

My Cancer ass pondering upon what I posted that could get me suspended, sure that I said something wrong, then refusing to send an e-mail, retreating into my shell, because sure I didn’t do anything wrong this time and “If they don’t want to be associated with me, it’s fine by me”, then feeling overjoyed the site is up… No wonder I’m a Lana fan lol. https://ibb.co/WcqDb8K

Been listening to Wait for Life. It has got to be one of my favorites. Her voice is so dreamy, sad yet soothing, fragile yet larger-than-life. I’m so happy that she exists somewhere out there!

Not sure if this is unpopular, but I think “Oh Say Can You See” is one of her best songs.

I think of Lana whenever I listen to this song. Especially this part: “Oracle of the mystery Of the changing face of time, Echoing through the centuries Your clear voice fills my mind”

LANALYSIS: Relating Songs To Known/Assumed Relationships
lili replied to Sitar's topic in Lana Thoughts
My humble impression from what I’ve gathered from songs rumored to be about Jimmy Gnecco is that they are indeed about him being dismissive of her. I think they knew each other, but not that well. Lana might have come too strong on him, as least that’s what I gather from Facebook posts and lyrics. He doesn’t seem to be a narcissist though, he simply may have not liked her. -
I mean I can get over lyrics like « Life rocked me like Motley » or « Dear lord when I get to heaven…. » because those songs are absolute absolute masterpieces to me personally. I don’t know maybe the Tulsa thing reminds me of Sean, so I can’t fully enjoy the song. Wait… I always forget it’s called Cinnamon Girl. You’ve reminded me again. Now that I think about it, Neil Young has a song of the same name which is rumored to be about Jim Morrison’s wife Pamela Courson. Knowing Lana’s fascination with references, maybe there’s something there.

Hahaha. Yeah, I dread the day it’ll relay how Robster spends his day will have me slayed…not in a good way.
