Still don't understand how GDL didn't leak. It's supposedly a K&OL-produced track (I believe it, it sounds like it to me) and K&OL would get hacked often, yet still no snippets or even an insider claiming to have it in sight

If you think it’s going off-topic... there’s nothing stopping anyone from shifting the conversation back to the topic. It shouldn’t take a staff member to remind y’all to stay on topic. If something is actually happening, you can tag us or report the post... but locking the thread? It’s not that serious.

Melanie herself has already confirmed through interviews that, this time, she would write the film along with the songs. So that means that if she already has the songs ready, or at least written, she already has all or almost the entire script of the film ready.
Edit: Besides, in the interview she gave to the grammy museum, she already had 48-50 pages of the film written. And that's been a long time, like 9 months ago...

girl i think the reason ppl are getting kinda annoyed is because in the last 30 or even more pages, half - and sometimes even more - of the posts are you, and you just rehash old info we already know or post snippets that are clearly fake

Imagine staning Charli XCX and consider Papercut a good song, the lyrics are so bad and the production is even worse

you need to clean your ears out. 
teddy bear is one of her best songs - the beat, melodies, vocals, production details, & lyrical metaphors / theme are all top-notch. It’s easily got more substance than the majority of Cry Baby songs & like all of K-12....... get some taste  

People need to lay Keenan off a bit
 
Y'all act as if Melanie didn't co-produce K-12, it was her idea, after all, to use so many practical sounds on each song, to make it more visual, and that's what gotten so repetitive on the songs.
Kennan had some really good productions on Cry Baby for Milk & Cookies, Pacify her and Play Date ... and those are staples throughout Mel's career.

He also has worked with Madison Beer, Likin Park, and G_eazy (being the one responsible for My Myself and I with Bebe Rexha)
 
His production has improved A LOT, especially when you listen to how different After School sounds from K-12.
 
Don't get me wrong I am a bit tired of him, a whole album and EP produced by the same person, it can get overwhelming.
I am happy that Melanie is working with K&OL again, but y'all hate on Keenan WAY too much for no reason

Actually she has said she is writting them BOTH together in a way to make both coincide but also its own thing, which was not how K-12 went, she wrote the songs then tried and connect them with the movie (which was already an idea on 2016).
She plans of having the songs as a "soundtrack" to themovie, which could indicate both as the scenes will play out and the music will accompany it, or she'll have more scenes in which the songs are the dialogue, more of a Musical type of film ... which in my opinion is the best way to go.
