I'm curious what song this was and whether it's one we have or not. Is there a Justin Parker co-write that fits the bill?  

This seems to be a pattern with her, picking people to work with on the business side based on their association with people she idolizes. I've also heard she once worked with an attorney because Jeff Buckley had been his client.

Wow, there's just a lot of interesting inside baseball about the dynamics between her and her label in these old outtakes. And a few details that relate to some stuff I've been researching that I'll have more to say about later.  

Not sure that's worked out so well for her in the first case, and I think she was just really fortunate in the second.

Being religious and talking about guns and money doesn't make you a republican, I mean, look at Gaga. I don't think she's full on republican, probably independent/left leaning/not really interested enough to care. She played a lesbian in Summertime Sadness,  went to the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability Fundraiser and said "sing it out, sing it loud, be proud, come out" in For You, which I think clarifies she's in support of same sex equality - not something a staunch republican would really do.
 
Plus, she addressed her feminism comments recently, she's not anti-feminism like a lot of republican women are. She said there's issues that need to be addressed, but technology interests her more. Feminism not being the center of your universe doesn't mean you're a republican. I care about the environment and technology too, but feminism interests me more. It doesn't mean I don't care about pollution or side with republicans on those issues, they're just not what's most important to me. Same thing with Lana, just reversed.

She would never, I thinks she's already so sad that her core fans aren't intellectual folk-rock geeks but underaged screaming twinks, so imagine her connecting to receive thousands of "YAAAASSS SNATCHED" in seconds

Oh my gosh, though. I cannot describe how excited I am for all of this. Both being such massive albums, I hope Delirium can match the quality of Halcyon. But with On My Mind, it looks like she's playing with fire
