This Grammy night had me crying. One of the best shows they had in a long time. How emotional I felt seeing all my faves and talented musicians in one room. First of all, the acceptance speeches by all the winners but especially Beyoncé, Chappell, Gaga, Shakira and Doechii had so much power behind them. Showing appreciation to the fire fighters, the immigrants, black women, the LGBT community, and especially trans people and making a powerful demand from record labels to support their developing artists more.
It was also incredible to see all these amazing women cry and celebrate each others' wins and messages, no egos, just divine female energy at its purest and most authentic form. This is what celebrating women looks like! They cried and I cried.
So happy to see all the most incredible and deserving black artists celebrated. Beyoncé, SZA, Doechii and Kendrick are at the top of their game. Doechii and Bey breaking records with their wins as they should.
Charli, St. Vincent, Kacey, Miley, Sabrina, Chappell, Beysus, Gaga... My little homosexua heart can't take all my talented mothers winning awards all in one night. Although I would have loved to see Taylord, Billie and Raye also win just to have the full roster, it didn't feel like an upset that they lost. There will always be some who go empty handed and those amazing girls already won huge by having the biggest album, biggest song of the year and making Brits history respectively. Raye's time in America will come and she would have gave the same speech as Chappell (talking to record labels) so I felt like her message she has been sharing for years was heard on that stage. Meanwhile, the winners of those big categories had so much cultural weight and significance behind them, it finally felt like Grammys got it right and didn't feel like anyone was being robbed like it was in many previous years.
Congrats to Dan N*gro and Amy Allen, helping create all these amazing bops, the best producer and songwriter we have right now.
Lady Gaga, I love you Lady Gaga; she dropped SOTY and VOTY while having an incredible tribute performance + winning a record breaking Grammy. At her artistic peak, happiest self and looked spectacular. OGHs, trust it is going to be the most difficult year for you yet.
I couldn't have asked for a better outcome of artists and music to be winning this year. What an incredible year for bops. Thank you America, thank you Lady Gaga and thank you pop music.

I’m so glad Sabrina didn’t win best new artist. I never understood how artists who’ve been releasing albums for YEARS get nominated.
honestly, I really like all the winners this year and feel like each category was very well deserved, and none of it feels like an award was given just because of name/star power

Jeremy should come to the Grammys stage and ask where is Lana's AOTY, maybe they'll give her the AOTY next time Like Jay Z last year

my choices if i was Grammy voter cause why not
Record of the Year: Good Luck Babe!
amazing song, really captivating. really well written, speaking about compulsory heterosexuality and being heartbroken about that person you love is faking reality. one of the best LGBTQIA+ songs in decade.
Album of the Year: BRAT
no explain iconic, change the world, change the lives. it isn't only an album. it's a lifestyle and state of mind. my album of summer 2024
Song of the Year: Die With A Smile
this is a type of song we didn't heard in ages. beautiful, classic, power ballad with people who entering to stage and starting singing. they aren't afraid to use their vocal abilities and they are making listener feeling good after listening and giving mind "talented people with high voice still exist".
Best New Artist: Teddy Swims/Benson Boone
i don't want to give a BNA curse to RAYE, Chapell, Doechii or Sabrina so i'm going curse men with only one hit (twinks needs a girl team with redhead lesbian, blondie and baddies)
Producer Of The Year: Dan Nigro
Songwritter Of The Year: RAYE (put some respect on her name)
Best Pop Solo Performance: Birds Of A Feather
great 80s pop indie-leaning song with mesmerizing haunting vocals, sounds like a classic and timeless gem.
Best Pop/Duo: Die With A Smile
look at SOFY
Best Pop Vocal Album: Midwest Princess
basically whole album is filled by hits, catchy replay value pop songs or moving ballads mixed with artsy theatre vibe.
Best Dance/Pop Recording: Von Dutch
you'll be always famous, BRAT
Best Rock Performance & Best Rock Song: Broken Man
Best Rock Album: Romance
Best Alternative Music Performance: Starbuster
one of the best 2024 songs (must listen!)
Best Alternative Album: Charm
great mix between Immunity and Sling, retro psychedelic soft rock soul with modern bedroom indie pop feeling.
Best R&B Performance & Best R&B Song: Saturn
so ethreal, dreamy and spacey, really beautiful and deserves for awards
Best Video: Fortnight
okay Taylor, don't cry, you have award for video. TS12 needs to be better
