Last Thursday, Lana Del Rey met some fans while at a Texas Roadhouse in Harvey, Louisiana.

Did anyone see her stylist Molly Dickson's Instagram story? It says "Gone country 🤠"

If this album ever does come it better be extremely polished from beginning to end  
 
A full photoshoot and album booklet with photos of Lana herself in different outfits (NOT random pics). Custom typography. Dolby Atmos mixes. Signed editions. At least a mini press tour. Magazines. A music video on release day. 

Tbh I hope she sticks with the “fun, at ease lyrics” and more “melodic, like American songbook” songs she talked about in June for NME. 
 
She’s got a second wind in popularity and just got married, so it seems like a natural progression to want to keep the songs happier and light this time around, and we really don’t need a third honest/revealing album in a row.

but I understand both sides, i.e. why the media criticized Lana in particular, but also why she felt disadvantaged

One thing I wonder is, why she compared herself to female main pop stars in qftc when she considers herself alternative?

the new title is gonna be American Gothic and the cover will look like the famous painting by Grant Wood but with Lana and Jeremy
 

I don’t think it’s a bad thing she’s taking time and re-tooling. It’s kind of a different project than her previous records due to the fact that she’s been working on the music for the last four years… all while still dropping other albums. Plus, she just got married. Maybe she wants to work towards something that reflects her current headspace. I’m considering this next album a bit of a refresher on her persona after going deep and revealing so much personal info in the last 3 albums. Praying for a fresh new vision and something fun to bop to
