Exactly! I understand her wanting to make her work as authentic as possible, she has that need of making it just hers but if she shared her creative vision with other producers the outcome of the universe she created would be much more explored and expanded.
I really hope her budget is higher or atleast decent for the visuals this time, cuz judging by the leaked songs, they NEED that.

I wonder if Lana’s gonna end up going through a Dolly Parton phase, where she’s releasing albums each year/multiple times a year. She did it this year, she did an audiobook in 2020, she did NFR in 2019. She’s been talking about the singer-songwriter genre returning and it just makes me wonder. I’m not talking like a country phase, but the release schedule. I guess it’s harder for her because of vinyls and i love collecting her records, but i’d be so happy if she decided to just drop like 2 more albums in a year where they’re available digitally at first

Lisyen… the demo of that song is so atmospheric and charged with unhinged emotion… can you imagine her singing “TAKE… THE GUN… AND PUT IT! TO! MY! HEAD!!! SO I CAN FORGET AGAINNNNNNN” in the very first song of the new album… I would literally pass out 
 
She literally has nothing to prove at this point. She’s showed she can be a trailblazer, a poet, the best lyricist working today, a reclusive songstress, an auteur who perfectly blends art pop and commercial trends without every compromising her vision which by itself is so unique… at this point, she can start doing some weird experimental shit and everyone will eat it up.
 
Take a 2 year break, create something chaotic and visceral, send the middle fingers to everyone in the industry and do whatever the hell you feel like it without polishing anything. Your fans will be here for you regardless - and your peers will pay attention and borrow inspiration from it. You’re one of a kind, Lana! Come on now

WAIT this version of the Levitating remix slaps! Still glad we ultimately got Missy's verse, though. 
 
Also, the more time goes by, the more I appreciate the whole Club Future Nostalgia project. I know the initial response of most people (myself included) was rather mixed, but I ended up absolutely loving it. Probably my favourite remix album ever.
