i honestly dont think "fake news" is in the recorded version... i think she sang that last night cuz she brought up his twitter? the album version is too muted tho, hard to tell. the dizzy from loving you is probably the best part of the song cuz she's dizzy from loving a country she thought she understood. also... "before" and "just" are filler words and they really kill the chorus for me. i am not a fan of the "political" songs on this album, but this is probably the one i like the most... when the chorus hits, she could have easily have said "when the world was at war, we kept dancing" and i would have been O K with this.

ive been trying my hardest to get into this album.... ive been liking it a bit more than when it first came out. i dooo have to sayyy that coachella, GBA, WTWWAW, BPBP, TNC, and Change feel like they belong on another album and they interrupt the rest of the tracks which seem to be a continuation of honeymoon. the tracks i mentioned are awkward on LFL and im really not a fan of the political side/it is awkward/save it for an EP. i think if she ditched those songs(and ditch asap on groupie love) and added BAR back, the album would be incredible. coachella sounds like a cool leaked demo and thats all it should have been. gba is the worst lana song worse than betty boop boop. WTWWAW is almost there but it is full of cringy lyrics. BPBP is the wrong song for stevie nicks, i think stevie would sound nice on angels forever(even tho i h8 that song). TNC why why why why why why why now that im singing with seeeeaaaan!!!! change reminds me of that gaga gif where she's saying all those adjectives.

yo. so i was listening to this last night. so far up to this point, I HATED the verse and liked the chorus. there was one line that always sounded rushed and stupid to me and it was "It's like smiling when the firing squad's against you, but you just stay lined up." but then last night, i realized she was singing about black beaches in this song. idk if i was blind before, but this song ties together a lot of the songs on the album. so it got me thinking about 13 beaches "with dripping peaches, i'm camera ready, almost all the time" and i realized "It's like smiling when the firing squad's against you, but you just stay lined up" is about her being "camera ready all most all the time." i now no longer hate the verse to cherrrrry. so now i think this song is about her fans and fame. she falls to pieces with the love of her fans, but it is also the love of her fans that drives paparazzi to follow her to her meditation spots/beaches
