The chorus is different for her (which personally I find very catchy…) but the verses and production overall is pretty similar imo
Ya but I think her last two albums have sucked and so has her poetry book so I just am surprised anyone is expecting anything “great” from her anymore

thankfully they redid the song and the More Lana version is now a winter classic!
Storytime: Last week it was snowing like crazy, and I have a "beach" near my place (it's on a river) so I wanted to take a walk to experience "snow on the beach"- well this was in a blizzard, and I almost collapsed and passed out walking thru 3 feet of snow. I didn't even make it TO the beach the sacrifices I make for Miss Del Rey-

The trio of singles: Blue Banisters / Text Book / Wildflower
I listened to them a total of one time each and never again till the album was released... Genuinely thought they were the worst songs of her career.
I still think Text Book is a god awful song. BB is just okay. Wildflower is the best out of the trio but the verses are still not it to me...
Long story short BB is the worst album ever made
Pop excellence... instantly gagged when I heard it

“When I was young and I was really aware of my own mortality, like when I realized we were all going to die, that kind of overshadowed my existence. But then also as I got older, and became a teenager, I had fleeting moments of happiness when I started falling in love and meeting amazing people.”
“I think when I grew up I just didn’t really connect to anything. Felt like everyday life was just sort of mundane and I was really worried that I would never feel connected to my profession or get to do anything that makes me feel really alive. And just being able to sing, it just makes me feel electric and lucky.”

15 Minutes: AMAZINGGGGG should have been on the original album along with Busy Woman imo. (10/10)
Please Please Please (Ft. Dolly): An absolute mess. The production is so messy and Dolly's vocals are really bad tbh... (4/10 cause I like the original song)
Couldn't Make It Any Harder: Definitely sounds like Hopelessly Devoted To You, it's really cute and different from any other song, and it builds really nicely. (7/10)
Busy Woman: So so so catchy and fun!! (10/10)
Bad Reviews: Cute country ballad which seems to be about the same muse as Please Please Please and I love the melody. Personally would have preferred this to be on the album over Coincidence or Dumb & Poetic but at the same time I understand why it wasn't. (8/10)

Okay, for anyone wondering:
15 Minutes: Fun upbeat moment, classic Sabrina melodies with Feather like production. The best one for sure
Please Please Please (ft. Dolly): cute i guess, not a very big fan of the original so…
Couldnt Make It Any Harder: Starts kinda boring, i was afraid it was another horrible Antonoff ballad but it turns into a Queen-esque fun retro moment. Could be used in a Grease like musical (reminds me of Hopelessly Devoted To You).
Busy Woman: BOP, glad they improved the mixing a bit since it was driving me crazy. Also some changes in the lyrics of the bridge
Bad Reviews: Worst way possible to close the deluxe, a boring ass plain mid Antonoff ballad. Someone put that man in a rocket and shot him into space
Overall feels like a natural expansion of Short N Sweet, nothing ground breaking with some fun moments. I would had cut Please Please Please remix and Bad Reviews.

I listened to it and honestly i think u guys are being a little dramatic yes the subject matter is dark but she does not sound like she’s crying and also it isn’t really different than anything like smarty or put me in a movie or ultraviolence
