Sky Ferreira was a psychological experiment among the LGBTQ+ community between 2008 and 2023 organised by the CIA to see the levels of delusion gays can reach.
Thank you for your cooperation.

I concur with this, minus the comment regarding her mental state, none of us know her current state and it is NOT PRODUCTIVE to hypothesize or become the Internet therapist, it's not edgy anymore to taunt this woman, not calling you out directly, as many people here feel comfortable doing this with no one calling them out, no one knows how she truly feels on a day to day basis, she has been held captive by an exploitative system since she was 15 years old,... i do agree she needs to make some type of statement, may that be via a social media post, a publicist, a legal channel, a message to her fan updates account on twitter idk... anything honestly, ik she's been able to communicate with some fans over the years and those people are quite protective of the info they receive for obvious legal reasons... in all seriousness this situation has really shown a bleak light on how abusive the music industrial complex is... just v sad.

This whole situation is screwed, yes it sucks for sky, yes sucks for her contract, but ultimately it sucks for the people waiting in the doorway for new material from an artist that has resonated with them for 10+ years... everyone likes to point fingers but its disheartening in the times we live in 2022 to have people who claim to be fans attack her on the regular, hack her, leak shit and gatekeep info, if u have the album cool keep it to yourself or leak it, it is mentally draining to all parties involved, disrespectful to Sky and to her fans who are attempting to be faithful/ supportive but obvi the ones that stayed around this long are eager for any crumb that falls from the bag. I doubt this leak would deter any plans she may have in the coming months as she is not overexposed at this current time. Leak it or keep it 2 urself. soz not soz for the rant.

for some reason I liked way better the way Descending ended back at pitchfork performance in 2019. hoping it doesn't simply keep playing instruments and then fade away like this mix. even tho its the closest to her recent one

That tag and filter is one of the most horrendous things I've ever heard. Listening to it felt like having a bad trip. It sounds like bad dreams, when you know you're awake but can't actually wake up. I was surrounded by the negative energy through the 4 minutes. This leak must be coming from the DEVIL itself, it feels so cursed. Now i'm trying to forget that tag and filter

She's so petty, just like me
Honestly she'll forever be cool to me. Getting gigs alongside Debbie Harry and Shirley Manson with hardly any label support. Yeah sometimes she annoys the he'll out of me and I thi k if she was more visible online she'd have a way better chance but she's a true talent and the REAL BAD GIRL

People here are truly toxic… if you don’t care about Sky the way you say then why do you take the time to be here in this toxic forum talking sh*t about her? If you don’t wanna help then don’t but stop making fun of people who are trying to help her out. I get that everyone’s annoyed by the waiting but why do you believe Capitol and not Sky? I don’t think she chose to be held hostage and forgotten… also, her family is supporting actively the #FreeSkyFerreira movement.

Can one of you drive me there? Please?
But seriously, I wish these guys the best. If this helps Sky to release her music, so be it.
I don't think a lot of people will be there though. If only 5 people turn up this will be embarassing.

Hi! This is my first post on this site
First off, I want to say it is very frustrating and I understand people are fed up with the constant false starts for the same album for almost 9 years. It’s awful.
But here’s the bottom line: there are many many things at play that got us here, some of which are undeniably Sky’s fault, some of which are not. These include but are not limited to:
Sky being stubborn // a perfectionist Capitol IS blocking some releases and has made things difficult for her before Sky having Lyme Disease and other health issues that required surgery Lack of funding, both from Sky and Capitol Sky potentially suffering from depression or an anxiety disorder which causes her to be indecisive, self-doubt and obsess over details // causes her to not release anything (I’m saying this as someone with a severe anxiety disorder because I’m the same way with things).
I understand people are mad and it’s really annoying to feel let down year after year. But please — in a world where you can be ANYTHING, why be mean? Both to each other and to Sky. If you’re mad or angry about something, you can still choose kindness and realize there are so many other artists to follow and listen to while we wait for Masochism. Name calling is awful and if I was Sky (even IF everything was my fault) I’d feel so devastated by some peoples words on this thread. Please be nice to each other and give Sky the benefit of the doubt. I surely wouldn’t want to be in her shoes right now, regardless of who or what was causing the delays. Let’s choose positivity and optimism going forward

Has Sky also ever considered that being a 1-album artist is actually not a bad thing either? Plenty of artists were able to build lasting legacies on ONE album and Sky could easily continue into acting, modeling, releasing singles and EPs, and collaborating with other artists. None of that would take away from how solid NTMT is and in my opinion it has enough strength to stand on its own. Why not focus on capitalizing on an iconic cult album? If Capitol wants to make money off her without allowing the proper release of Masochism, they should absolutely re-issue NTMT on CD, vinyl, limited run cassette, etc. Deluxe edition with Pretty Dull, Guardian, etc etc. It probably wouldn’t chart too high on Billboard but I’m sure they’d be able to move around 7,500 units of it on vinyl per year given its cult status. I know she’s tried for that in the past and it didn’t happen. I just hope after all this time that Masochism hasn’t affected Sky’s quality of life because if I had something hanging over my head for 9 years I’d lose my mind
