I think racism and antisemitism should be grounds for an immediate ban. There’s no nuance in that. Im a white woman (regrettably) who is spiritual but I gotta say I feel super uncomfortable knowing that wasn’t an immediate ban. It was really disturbing seeing Jewish fans have to read that nasty shit and for them to see the user wasn’t banned yet.. This really should be a safe space for everyone and hate speech should never be tolerated. The aesthetic and feeling of this record is so cool and timeless to me. Part of me just wants to ride on a jet ski and go to arcades and cry into a beach towel on a hot summer night when I listen to it, the other half wants to go on a long introspective road trip and stop at all the dive bars along the way

That’s a really interesting perspective, because I can definitely see where you’re coming from, but this album is the only one since lust for life that gave me the oh my god moment. I love Norman and chemtrails and even bb but they were more easy listening records for me, or skippable with only a few gems. Ocean Blvd pulled up some real artistry and variety that I’d been missing and made me really think! I love that, it got the gears in my head going

I really think bb is overhated. Yeah it’s not very cohesive and there’s some weak tracks and production but I absolutely love some of the songs… I like it better than chemtrails tbh and I like chemtrails. Wfwf, black bathing suit, thunder, and sweet Carolina are beautiful songs. Dealer is unlike anything she’s ever done! Not to mention finally getting living legend, nectar of the gods, and cherry blossom released. Idk why it’s just very special to me. It was cool hearing a more personal side of her!
