i would like to say that im back to this thread now…. but am i really? i dont think im the same its so fucking good i cant even

They either listened to the leaks already and have nothing more to say 24 hours later, or they didn't listen to leaks and are avoiding this thread to not see spoilers

I really fuck with that shirt I needed a graphic tee and the fact that it’s Taylor and has a good colour scheme makes it so much better. I also got the beige hoodie which idk how to feel about if it’s done poorly it’ll be ugly. Then I got the ring but I have fat ass finger knuckle's and got a size 9 but I’ll never be caught wearing a ring so it doesn’t really matter if it doesn’t fit

I’ve been reading your reviews and comments without having listened to any songs and I really can’t get my head around on the sound of this album..  « It’s Midnights 2.0 » « No it’s not » « reminds me of Reputation » « Reminds me of a mix of folklore and lover and reputation with some Red sounds on one track »  
Fortnight is probably the song I’m most worried about…

You guys to what you want and listen to leaks but like to me you’re not a real swiftie if you listen to leaks like why are you ruining this release it’s so insanely rude. To non swifties that listen to leaks and spread stuff you’re just as bad now swifties that will wait as it’s the right thing to do are getting bombarded with leaks and peoples bad opinions about it that really don’t know Taylor or let alone good music (Ariana grande fans(also don’t come for me eternal sunshine is good but her other music is shitty basic pop music with a good vocal range)). Anyways guys happy 1 day and 1 hour till TTPD so excited to experience it with all the swifties

I’m more going towards the publicly open leakers I didn’t mean to come at you guys that much I really can read the room on lanaboards. But my points do still stand on being pissed at leaks
 
to be fair I hate the word swifties it is very childish but I guess in some form Taylor is childish. Fake swifties is a bit funny but I don’t know how else to put it. 

I do understand the frustration on this though. I really do. However, something I've picked up in life, is that if I want to live it spoiler-free, usually a good 24-48 hours before someone is supposed to release content - I gotta avoid the internet. If I want to experience an album truly unspoiled, I don't visit the pages, because over the last several years, it's become increasingly normal for things to leak a few days prior. I don't go near the Drag Race Reddits or Twitter or IG pages, because elimination orders and screenshots leak all the time. Big huge TV shows/series - I gotta skip the forums and discussion posts because insiders leak everything early. For video games I'm excited about, I stop paying attention to all of the media around it, because people with pre-downloaded content or someone who got an early copy at Gamestop are already up on Twitch and streaming it.

You kinda gotta "go dark", and really stick to only private convos or DMs in trusted Discords if you really wanna dodge everything, I hate to say it. In the intersection between todays media economy and the way people define themselves by their interests and the fact that as a culture, people are getting more and more impatient overall - the strong desire to be "the first" and get ahead of others fuels participation in leak culture and makes it hard to avoid.

Also - with regards to Taylor specifically - there's a large portion of people who know how emotionally invested her fans are with respect to her music; they will be actively looking for ways to troll and sabotage on larger places like Twitter.

Yeah I really don’t know why I do this to myself I forget this is lanaboards sometimes. I’m just pissed at people spreading leaks 

i get what you mean (i'm waiting until friday to listen to anything), but this is the wrong forum to be trying to preach this. last march thing caused a huge controversy over tunnel and ended up really messy. leaks happen, people listen. fortunately it's mostly people who will be streaming anyway 

im so scared I CANNOT see any leaks or the experience won’t be as good  thats why i haven’t been on lanaboards lately bc i just really don’t want to see it. i will see you all after it comes out- and give my two cents

The amount of 2’s is crazy I hope it’s not a double album I just want TTPD to have its own moment and era. Also what do we think the record store day thing is? I hope she has a rsd vinyl but also that would be so stressful if it was a surprise drop
