I could see her dropping an edition of the album on streaming with all the bonus tracks on it the next day (like 3AM) or the following week to stabilize streams

i'm surprised they haven't cracked down on artists releasing slightly different versions of the same album to increase chart sales, they cracked down on people (k-pop stans) buying the same single on different accounts by decreasing the weight physical sales have. I suppose it would be quite difficult to enforce, like would they make it so only the standard album version counted towards album sales? (genuinely curious, not looking to start another fight about album versions lol)

every artist associated with taylor gets asked about her at this point, and there’s ways to handle it with class. unlike those artists, jack isn’t even know for being a singer he’s literally known for being a producer & him and taylor are good friends. i thought the question was relevant enough to his career and he could’ve been more polite 🤷‍♀️ 
like lana gets asked about billie and taylor when she’s being interviewed about her albums and she’s 10x more famous than jack but still acts humble. 

Despite myself, I sort of understand his annoyance here. This was an interview about his new album, and if he had answered this question about Taylor, the article’s headline would’ve been about that and not his own work.

as much as i’ve critiqued jack’s work in the past, i’ve never seen why people critique him as a person. but damn now i see why people say he’s annoying because this is so arrogant, the fame has really got to his head. 

I think listening to it would be a lot quicker way to figure that out than having someone try to explain it no disrespect 💀

Taylor album lead-ups are soooooo boring. If we were less than a month out from a Lana drop, we’d have some girl trying to record her cassette player, some Polish lady with the sock, a bunch of indie retailers accidentally getting albums early, and a bunch of rumors of a double album. 

Tbf she says Slut in Slut but yeah it’s clean and in the man she says bitches twice

and there was a soft swear (damn) in self titled before it was reissued in 2008.

I’m actually going to start feining why hasn’t she done any promo besides announcing bonus tracks. Like we didn’t even get a fun track title moment which is because it was leaked but still. I’m lowkey pissed 1989 tv got so much more attention than this. Merch still isn’t out and she usually releases it minimum 22-25 days before it drops. I’m guessing they’re gonna do something on the 14 day mark as it’s a “fortnight” till it releases but that’s still so insanely late for promo. She doesn’t really need promo because of where she’s at right now but I feel like we don’t even have like eras now midnights was literally just midnights mayhem with me and if it had better promo it wouldn’t be as overlooked by swifties. TTPD is the album that needs promo the most like the fuck are threes track titles atleast gives us some merch with a single line of some lyrics. Or just any merch whatsoever.
