I wonder if it's somehow related to what location you put when signing up? I have found sometimes I get her emails hours later than everybody else so maybe it just hasn't delivered yet This is how it looks: But I doubt it will be anything Lasso related or anything exciting, surely? Yes, I got an email about the pop up shop. I didn't buy tickets for leeds/reading. The wording implies it's for anyone, not just people going to the show (which would make sense since it's held in London). I was going to post about it but couldn't find the newsletter thread

Ohh interesting! I love both of those things too but it just never clicked with me I might have to try again at some point! Old Man and the Sea was the first Hemingway book I read and a good starting point! He and Melville are almost polar opposite writers (I'm sure there's a quote from Hemingway about how he prefers to write with less words), so it must be a real trip reading one after the other

I've just finished reading The Song of Achilles. Rated it 3/5. I understand why other people would love it, but there were issues I couldn't overlook, hence the 3/5. I will read some of Madeline Miller's other works though.

All I can say is good luck with Moby Dick if you're finding it takes you ages to finish The Sun Also Rises. Moby Dick is the only book I never finished, it's so long and descriptive and ... I won't say any more

I haven't seen anyone mentioning this but the vinyl is also more expensive here, at least in the U.K. On her other shop it's £12.99, here it's £15. Shipping is the same. Since one looks red and one looks ombre orange/red, does this mean it's a different pressing? The price difference seems to indicate that may also be the case?

Yes! Most of the reason I love Lana's music is her lyrics because that's where her artistry really shines. But I don't mind her working with other writers if that's what she wants to do!! Especially if the songs are as catchy as this. I'm sure she'll continue to write songs which are 100% just her lyrics too

I don't understand why people are upset about Lana not writing the chorus. She's still listed first in the credits. Unless I'm missing something, she could have written the verses (even the ones she doesn't sing) and obviously the bridge. Either way and no matter how much or little she wrote of it, it's VERY catchy. Not usually my "thing" but it's a BOP.

I always get the newsletters late but it's arrived now and I'm so excited!! I'm not that bothered if it's for Lana or Quavo because the MV looks like Lana aesthetics through and through and the snippets are Still dislike the photo with the red text over the top ... the actual photo is great but not the text I hope that's not the cover because all the other visuals are AMAZING ... the new photo of them by the house/barn thing? LOVE IT Can't wait!!

This is a HISTORIC moment in music It makes me so happy that two amazing lyricists and singer-songwriters inspired by the Beat Generation appreciate each other's art. This has literally made my day, Patti Smith is one of the most inspirational musicians I can think ... just beyond words Also I love her voice on this song. It adds sometime really special and sad I haven't heard on any other covers
