It sounds really good! Already better than what Slut Pop 1 sounds like imo. I am cautiously optimistic for this one, but the visuals are slaying me!

This is my issue with Slut Pop 1 as well. It felt like it lacked the wit that sexual pop songs can have. Like Slayyyter does it here and there but Ayesha is the blueprint for doing something so trashy and so explicit and yet making it witty and biting. That's why I'm hoping Slut Pop Miami is an improvement since I know Kim has it in her to do something explicit and fun while also being less...reductive with the concept of sex. She was able to do it prior with Do Me, Death By Sex, etc. so I know she has it in her.

The inverse is actually true for me like I barely revisit that album specifically because of how intertwined it is with peak Covid. The songs are fine though like outside of enemy, 7 years and party 4 u, I don't really revisit it as much. Charli and Crash gets more replays from me.

If she's all for slut empowerment, then by all means go for it. Just make sure the music's good as well. I really like the teaser for Slut Pop Miami, but I wish the music is actually creatively slutty this time around. If you're gonna be inspired by Ayesha, at least take some better notes.

Do we have any info about her upcoming era yet? She's performing in Rock in Rio this September so I assume she would have released some new material by then.
-
We're back full circle with her, huh? Debut mixtape stans, this is our moment!

I was never the biggest fan of Slut Pop but I guess I can't be too mad with more Kim content especially with how overfed we were last year. I do hope there's a swerve song in Slut Pop 2 where she randomly inserts a slutty slow song just as a twist kinda like TOTL2 had "Everybody Dies" as a differentiator of some sort.

I don't get the complaints about the track titles. They're pretty good and pretty intriguing! Pretty much some of her most intriguing titles in a hot minute.

Exactly! Girl just lost all categories and she's probably feeling some type of way about it. This is yet another instance of Taylor being kinda insensitive since she's literally always the safe choice for the academy to give the wins to. I can't imagine how she'll be like if someone dragged her to be on stage with if/when she loses something given how award-centric Taylor is based on her documentary. Idk, this whole thing just makes me feel off but that's my opinion.
-
I know Taylor probably meant well but holy crap it must feel bad to be dragged on stage to be with someone who won a category you were nominated for (let alone should have won). I don't think it's malicious on Taylor's part but it still annoyed me seeing how uncomfortable Lana was. A part of me feels like this was yet again another one of Taylor's pseudo girl power moments but idk, I'm also aware I have my biases against Taylor considering how I always get phony vibes out of her.

Yeah it definitely is a very different industry there. Rita Ora is legitimate in the UK while in the US she is oftentimes the butt of the joke (altho I bet that's mostly from her infamous tweet back then).

???? Her prime (in terms of exposure) was literally when she vanished and her songs blew up so like she wasn't even there to experience it for the most part. I don't think that counts at all.

I still wanna hear the entirety of the Store demo.
-
Idek the guy but lol
-
I think she desperately needs therapy. I don't wanna be an armchair therapist or anything but I think she's been exhibiting signs of paranoia for years now. For me, her legacy as THE queen of rap will always remain undeniable...but she really needs to seek help at this point.

Did Nicki make a one day song just to diss Megan back? What in Charli XCX one day album lmao

That Kid's version for Taco Bell is better anyway. I think Taco Bell (Ayesha's Version) will be fine even with 2024 production.
-
I don't think so since CRPGs are known for their heavy tabletop inspiration so they're mostly isometric games with turn based or real time pause elements. I think Cyberpunk 2077 is more in line with modern RPGs such as Witcher 3 and what-not.
-
I feel like the best case scenario is to have them as features. I think they'll probably be up for that.
-
Does anyone know where she's signed to now?
-
"Alien" and "Dark Part of Your Heart" remain as her best unreleased tracks for me. Those two songs are extra special.

I have the same thoughts. Candy never really piqued my interest. To me, it's just a collection of songs that she's trying to push unto her label to make her release something. Problematique seems like the true album whereas Candy seems more like a mixtape at best.

Considering how much we were fed this 2023, I doubt we'll be getting anything this 2024. Maybe ToTL 3 but I kinda doubt that even exists at this point.
