Reading more about it, I'm very apprehensive about this upcoming release. I already had a funny feeling when I learned that will.i.am is on it like he was a key factor as to why Britney Jean turned out the way it was. I sincerely doubt Britney will sign off on working with him again given how sketchy Britney Jean turned out to be. I don't know but I just think that the upcoming song is gonna be Myah-heavy with touches of Britney-AI since I really think will.i.am is the kind of person who would stoop that low. Just don't trust that guy at all.

I feel like she can both feel hurt about the album not being properly released while still endorsing listening to it because it's out anyway. The thing is that it's on its way to be shelved anyway so the album being leaked was just the final nail in the coffin.
-
I didn't like it at first but upon listening to it four more times I grew to like it. Excited for her upcoming album! Sounds like it's gonna be in the same vein as "Am I A Girl" which is my favorite output of hers.
-
Tbf I don't think Padam Padam is a Britney song at all. Kylie is the perfect fit for the song.
-
That song has three versions out there. One by Charli, one by Noonie Bao, and one by Bella Thorne of all people. All did great imo.

I'm really excited for this! I loved her debut mixtape but I wasn't the biggest fan of Troubled Paradise. If this era truly is a mix of both worlds, then I'll be more than happy with it. Starfucker is also an iconic album title. I hope the album cover and visuals match it!

The Poppers playlist

I really enjoyed the album as well! It's not cohesive and it also does not follow a specific theme despite the artwork and title indicating such, but the album is full of great songs and there's something there for everyone. For me, I made a playlist where I removed Sex Talk, Coconuts, and Unholy. I also replaced Alone with Alone 2.0 while also adding IJWAR (it's not that bad of a song!). I also rearranged the track list in a way that makes sense in my opinion. I feel like people are way too harsh on the album because they knew what could have been with Problematique. The thing is that I think Problematique being scrapped was for the best since that album is fully produced by Dr. Luke plus the title of the album might put more critical eyes on her. While Feed the Beast is a tad generic, at least it's inoffensive and fun enough as a base for her to move forward. I just hope she pulls another moderate hit with King of Hearts so that her label puts less pressure on her for her second album.
-
Now we're talking, this is such a bop! Wish this was officially released but it will sound so out of place in Feed the Beast so I get it.
-
I don't like "Move" that much. I think Clarity is perfect just the way it is. Even "Meet the Parents" (aka the weakest Clarity track) is still a pretty chill track.
-
Do we have any confirmations if she's really signed to a label? Or is that yet another twink-fueled rumor that was spread on tiktok?
-
So according to a twitter video I saw of her, King of Hearts is her next single. Hopefully they promote it well because the song has moderate hit potential.
-
I see a lot of people saying that her career is derailed because of how messy Feed the Beast is in terms of rollout and quality. I feel like a lot are overexaggerating like sure Kim isn't likely going to be the next Britney, but I think her career will be just fine after this era. I do think she's gonna have to face some sobering reality about her fame such as how she is not enough (as of now) to fill the venues in her tours. I feel like her "debut" mainstream era is gonna be a growing pain kind of experience for her, and hopefully she doesn't lose hope because of it. She clearly is very driven and very talented so hopefully she's able to push through.

This was such a fun time to be a pop fan. Speaking of which, I know Leighton was working on a pop album back then but it was scrapped and shelved. Has that ever been leaked? I'm interested to hear how it was like since I think Leighton had what it takes to be a pop star.

I just realized that the title track sounds like the iCarly opening theme lol Both are bops!

I can't give you a concrete answer as to what the actual "best" CRPG is since gamers have different criteria when it comes to which game's implementation of tabletop rules end up being the best. Like some of them prefer if the games stayed as true as possible to the tabletop rules, while others prefer the simplified and modified version. For me, I always say that Divinity Original Sin 2 is the best CRPG to play if you want to try your hands on the CRPG genre. The game is simple enough that you wont get overwhelmed with the mechanics, but it's also a game with so much in it that even in my fifth replay I was still able to discover new stuff in it. The other titles that I mentioned (Pathfinder, Pillars of Eternity, etc.) are more true to the tabletop experience but that's also sort of their weakness since the learning curve is so steep. I played Pathfinder Kingmaker after playing Divinity Original Sin 2 and I struggled a lot. I probably would have struggled more if I didn't play DOS2 beforehand and most likely I would have been turned off with the genre if ever. tl;dr: Play Divinity Original Sin 2 if you want a good entry title for the CRPG genre. Also, Baldur's Gate 3 is made by the same devs and it hasn't been released yet. But based on how amazing Divinity Original Sin 2 is, I'm pretty sure it's also gonna be good. CRPGs are notorious for their very long playtimes though so just keep that in mind. I would compare it to playing the Sims where it doesn't feel like a drag to play, but when you check the time, you'll realize you've been playing for 6 hours straight lol.

Iirc SOPHIE reached out to her for a collab but Ayesha was in her full hermit mode back then so it didn't happen. The only thing that came out of that was I guess Ayesha allowed SOPHIE to use her vocals for a Ken Doll SOPHIE remix. Such a shame...

Holy shit, that's good! I know people have mixed feelings about AI but I think it's inevitable that it's gonna be prevalent in our modern lives moving forward.

I thought of making a thread for specific CRPG titles but I think that the game genre is very niche so I just ended up making a thread for CRPGs in general. In case people are unaware, CRPGs are video games (insert Lana pun) that are inspired by tabletop games such as D&D, Pathfinder, etc. These included beloved classics such as Baldur's Gate, and Neverwinter Nights, as well as more modern staples of the genre such as Divinity Original Sin 2, Pathfinder Kingmaker, Pathfinder WOTR, Pillars of Eternity, etc. The biggest upcoming CRPG release is Baldur's Gate 3, which is developed by Larian Studios (same dev as Divinity Original Sin 2) and it's gonna be released on Aug 3. I'm personally excited for it, but I decided not to buy it on launch since games nowadays are really buggy on their Day 1 launches. Anyone here plays/played any CRPG titles?

I'm still not sure if she's coming back or not, but I think the chances of her doing so is a bit higher than a few years back. I'm personally really excited if she does since no one really ever was able to pull off slut pop like she did (Kim Petras tried but it was way too dumbed down). As for collaborating with Lana, there's no way. I just don't see it happening. The closest we'll ever get is probably an Ayesha x Lana AI fan made collab.

I feel like going for her next era would be a better move than releasing a deluxe version. It makes more sense back with Heaven and Hell, but with Diamonds and Dancefloors kinda not doing well, I can see her label not wanting to invest on it further and instead move on with her next project.

I feel like Ayesha is the queen of looking different in every photo so it's not a shock to me that she looks very different in that insta post

I know that some of the diehard fans tend to feel some type of way about people who think Born To Die is Lana's best album, but screw it I still think it's her best work. It offered Lana's essence distilled in pop form. It was a revolutionary album that pushed the pop landscape in the early 2010s. It was also the album that's closest to my heart since I listened to it during the most tumultuous parts of my formative years. I'm always gonna be a pop fan first and foremost, so Born To Die truly does something to me whenever I play that album. It's a no-skip album for me, and it's her best work imo.

I checked out the insta post and like while I wanna be optimistic since Ayesha truly is a one of a kind artist, it might be another case similar to 2019 where ThatKid posted a pic together with Ayesha and people speculated she's coming back but she just ended up uploading an insta story saying that she's never coming back and the attention she got from the pic makes her a lot less likely to come back.
