Has it been discussed yet that the album cover that was revealed is RECTANGULAR and album covers are suppose to be SQUARE.

    All of these are SQUARES

    This is a rectangle

I can’t imagine that vertical image of Lana with the text at the bottom compressed into a square. It looks more like a cassette cover than anything. That leads me to believe that there will be a different official cover or alternate covers like with Ocean Blvd.

actually you're not delulu. This is being logical, lana needs to start selling/preorder asap if she wants to release it on may

Not calling you dumb but... let's add critical thinking to this discussion

I've never seen this other side vinyl thing so I have no idea if it is actually referencing the song or if it genuinely just means... the other side
To me... This just seems like digital marketing to let the buyers know there's two different sides to the vinyl

The song exists just like how Famous (another UV outtake) exists and no one has it... knowing about it and having it has no correlation together.
Also not to mention a good chunk of the time, these songs come from many different sources - not just one.

Most of newer unreleased songs are not registered so that's irrelevant nonetheless... We knew about Summertime (Janis Joplin cover) before anyone had it as well... doesn't mean it doesn't exist

last night I dreamed that never let me go was on the tracklist. It seemed so real, people were gagged. I really think it would feat well on the album

For anyone who might be interested in this new interview with The Nexus that was released yesterday which mentions Lana:

To sum it up the talking points:
    - He was sent demos from his publishing (Sony) to try and get him and Lana to work together
    - She was introduced to him as Lizzy Grant but by the time they actually met she was fully transformed into Lana Del Rey
    - They did a 2 hour writing session for a song inspired by Sugababes
    - Lana played them an early demo of Video Games
    - Briefly touches on recording Nation Anthem (Would have have been 'I Want It All' version)

I would also like a single, however by that I mean a single man, 6’1, toned, large cock. But a Lana single would also be nice

Tbh as a plus sized person, there's nothing wrong with saying it unless you're just being mean. Also Lana wasn't even that big.

The song is really beautiful, I loved the layers of this production. It's this dreamy dark electrowave sound which I really love and I'm so glad that we got to finally hear Lana in one those productions.

We can definitely expect amazing vocals from her collaborations with The Weeknd, in the end it literally felt like a space alien sang when she was belting in the outro which was also the same reaction I had when I listened to Stargirl for the first time.

While I'm very grateful that we got the collaboration with Abel, I am bit sad that she was only in the outro like in Party Monster because not gonna lie I expected a full verse like in Stargirl or Prisoner. But I guess it was Lana's choice, like it was with Snow On The Beach. Maybe we'll get The Abyss feat. More Lana Del Rey but a delulu can dream.

I loved the Azealia Banks Twitter beef reference with the "threat not a promise" line.

My favorite collaboration of theirs still is Stargirl, I'll never forget the euphoric feeling of it while listening for the first time. But I did like the new song more than Party Monster or the Money Power Glory remix.

But I also think that the song is one of the best ones from his new album, the whole track felt like a song installed from the future because damn, I loved the dreamy synthwave layers, it was so crystal clear and immaculate. Both of their vocals were stunning as well, I loved that so much, sometimes it felt like the vocals melted into each other which reminded me of Lust For Life. I really need a dark wave electronica album from Lana. She would kill it one hundred percent.

She sounds very prisoner-eaque to me. This is very much a Prisoner sister type of situation.

God, can't believe we got a Quavo and The Weeknd collab back to back. Great way to start the year.

I don't know why but I'm expecting Right Person to be very low-key and Bob Dylan-esque, so having these two collabs really kind of balances things out.

Oh I just know Azealia will be pissed. She's still bitter about that beef, this will send her into a spiral.

    [The Weeknd]
I tried my best to not let you go
I don't like the view from halfway down
Just promise me that it won't be slow
Will I feel the impact of the ground?

I just to try be something I'll never be
    Why waste another precious hour?
    Why waste another precious ounce?
I'd rather leave somewhat of a legacy
    Familiar, a thought's so familiar

Let me close my eyes with dignity
Let's end it all, the world's not far behind
So, what's the point of staying?
    It's going up in flames
    Act now
    Let's act now

    [Lana Del Rey]
    Act now
    Oh
    Hey

    [The Weeknd]
Just hold my heartbeat close to you
Remember how it always beats for you
I'm falling at the speed of light
I'm staring at your shrinking face
    Don't cry
You know my heart belongs to you
One last time, say that you want me too
The only words that gave me life
Now I see you on the other side
    Oh, oh
    Oh, oh
    Oh, oh
    Oh, oh

    Oh mama, I pray
    We're running away

    [Lana Del Rey]
    Ooh, hey
    Oh, hey
    It's a threat, not a promise
    If you're looking for rage
    If you're looking for ragin'
    Quiet for days
    Baby, you're running away
    Hey
    It's a threat, not a promise
    If you're quiet for days
    Hey, ah
    Ahh
    Ahh
    Ahh
    Ahh
    Ahh

    [The Weeknd]
    Mama, I pray
    Mama, I pray

I need a little help clarifying some of the lyrics, especially with the first verse and Lana's part!

Her vocals are STUNNING!!  Just like in Stargirl, Lana didn't hold back in reaching those hypnotic, super high notes that she executes so well. I loveeee this sound from her, and he seems to bring it out in her on his projects. Would luvvv more of this sound on her own projects, but this is a tasty lil treat for now x

I also made a lyric thread for the song if anyone would like to read, do an analysis, or make correction suggestions:
