I think my rarest piece of merchandise is the Born to Die serpent flask! I saw one go on eBay for $600 the other day and hadn't even seen it listed anywhere in ages. Additionally, I own pieces that are less hard to come by but still pricey on resale such as the Paradise boxset, heart-shaped coke rosary, & Zippo lighter. I'm so glad I was able to get all of those while they were still being sold for their initial price.
I also have three of her first magazine covers - Wonderland, Lovecat, and Intro! (I actually own every single magazine she's ever covered with a unique photoshoot for the cover, and also probably double that in magazines that have covered her with recycled photoshoots)
Then, of course, my plethora of vintage dresses she's worn... I would say probably out of all of them, her Coachella dress is probably the rarest vintage piece I've found. I've been searching for it since the day she wore it and I finally found the exact dress for sale the other week. I had known of the brand for a few years, but the exact style & print combo was a waiting game x

If she doesn't want her music to sound half cooked, mayhaps I suggest she'd work with someone other than the half-cooked-music man himself.
Ultimately this album isn't coming out anytime soon.

Am I the only one who is not getting “secret project” from what she said? The “other good stuff going on” sounds like go listen to other artists until it’s ready. I’m really starting to believe those tough remixes were the other 2 singles.

Wait so they confirmed a (not so secret anymore) project?
It's either a covers album or an unreleased collection
The album stuff is so confusing... basically what I get is that she has some songs but doesn't know if she wants to give them country production or just stick to a folky acoustic sound

Lana Del Rey Has Songs Ready for Country Album but Doesn't Want It to Be 'Half-Cooked': 'We'll Get There'
Lana Del Rey wants fans to know she isn't rushing perfection when it comes to releasing her hotly-anticipated country album, Lasso.
Speaking with PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly at the 2024 Instyle Imagemaker Awards held in Los Angeles on Thursday, Oct. 24, the singer, 39, offered a brief glimpse into where her head's at as she inches closer to the release of her next body of work.
"I think all the songs have been Americana and I want to wait to see what the musical atmosphere feels like," she says of Lasso. "'Cause I don't usually feel like I need a pause in the creation process, but if there's a literal energetic pause that almost feels like physical, then I have to wait and I don't know why."
The "Born to Die" performer adds, "I'll have to see if it's because of something someone's done or because it's going to take a turn."
Although Del Rey can't put a specific release date on the project just yet, she teases that "we'll see. But the songs I have, I love, so I don't want to turn it into something that's half cooked, even if it's super stripped back. I want it to be what it was supposed to be."
As for fans patiently awaiting the album's release, all she has to say is, "They can be excited for all the other good stuff going on. We’ll get there. First things first!"
Those who want a glimpse of a Americana-twanged Del Rey need to look no further than her most recent collaborative single: "Tough," which features Quavo. Backed by an emotional, country-influenced guitar riff that carries vocals discussing everything from "the scuff on a pair of old leather boots" to "blue-collar, red-dirt attitude," the music video flashes scenes of country roads, farm homes and other elements of Americana.
Del Rey previously told NME earlier this year that Lasso will contain songs that have “maybe less to say in terms of any self-revealing things like on Tunnel or Blue Banisters or Chemtrails over the Country Club," describing her new songwriting as "more melodic. Maybe more American Songbook style?”
Ultimately, the "Summertime Sadness" singer is aware of country music's power in the industry today. "When I gave Jack Antonoff his award for best producer of the year, I said, ‘Welcome Nashville to Hollywood and Hollywood, welcome to Nashville because the music business has gone, gone country.' And it went silent; 5000 people, dead silent," she told the outlet. "Then the next week, we had three major artists announce big country albums."

been re-reading her old interviews from 2023 and found this:
so, when she was living in nashville in late 2023, she was writing an album of standards (i don't really know what that could mean but the journalist brought these country roads and unchained melody covers as examples). and what we also know is that she was in nashville with luke laird whom she wrote henry come on with. so those "classic, simple songs" could basically means songs like henry come on. which i wouldn't mind but i have a strange feeling that the song might be...scrapped.
honestly, it has been "difficult" (it's not really the right word to describe but you'll understand) last months in terms on music and news. like i know we've been fed these last five years with a lot of albums and songs and content but for the first time as a fan i just...do not have a great feeling about this album's fate. something doesn't add up, especially jack's latest interview where his "tone" was more pessimistic than in previous months where he was talking about lasso. i know that she just recently married, is on her honeymoon and wants her privacy - and i respect that.
the era hasn't really started properly as well, we did have snippets and jack-being-hyped-interviews in nfr and cotcc eras but everything about lasso era feels so dead and lifeless. i need news so bad, i'm desperate for that. i want this forum to be alive and full of energy like it was earlier this year when lana announced lasso. the only thing we're holding onto is the southern gothic themes and two-more-singles-by-the-end-of-2024 thing. i don't think these were tough remixes, she never cared for remixes. so this last week of october, november and december are our last hopes for singles and news - and i really want to me optimistic and this might be my another case of delusion - but i really really hope that at least one single is released in those months. that "country yeehaw" photoshoot which her stylist molly teased is quite vague as well since she works with a lot of celebrities. but i do hope it's for lana. if it's not for an album maybe it is for a magazine or a brand. there's this stagecoach show and rumoured liverpool show too but i don't know if shows can indicate anything, we got nothing new this year besides that "past present" intro song - which i hope which will be released some day. we can still hold onto that "cool non-lasso" thing which pantene teased as well...

as soon as she answers my voice will be clearer and I will be able to tell you if this hypothetical new album will be good

Which supposed insider claimed again that Lasso was comparable to “At Folsom Prison”? And then there was a vague dbree rumor that LASSO was actually an acronym.
I've just realized, that LASSO could stand for "Live At ...", but found no reasonable explanation for SSO. The most appropriate was Sarasota County Sheriff's Office , which is not far from Anna Maria Island, where Rob resides, or the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
