I don't think we have any instrumentals. And we're missing a lot more @@keanefar I messaged him too, the battle begins

Thank you! I don't suppose you'll be searching MØ much but if you happen to see another please let me know @@keanefar praying for us (but praying I snag the next one and not you lel) Fire Rides and Dust is Gone are so good! Can't even decide on a preference, but Fire Rides is a clear an-themmmmm. As much as this minimizes the amount of new material we'll have, it's also thrilling to have a few demo versions. Not to overhype myself, but I'll be surprised if there's a single song on this album that I dislike. "Crazy for You" must have been the original title (it was also on a few setlists), but changed for release because "Don't Wanna Dance" is the more recognizable hook--and they're aiming at a hit clearly. Like Charli's "Feel My Pain" turning to "Set Me Free" only more logical.

Y'all coming out of the woodwork tonight huh Every link (EVERY LINK) on the newalbumreleases page fucked me I don't suppose someone would reup the sampler? I know it's a bitch but pleeeeease I can't take this Also @@Born To Die I literally searched for MØ samplers like three days ago and got no results, what did you type in?

That's so beautiful! Like I've never really felt "Hide" until just now... Also she should bring her dancing to a music video.

We have these threads for all the other albums so I thought it would be fun to do this while it's fresh in our minds. So name your favorite song from these early albums(that we haven't heard already) and why! Mine is absolutely "In Wendy." It's very simple and her voice sounds sooo gorgeous, probably more gorgeous than any other song from this era. I like that it's one of the more melodic moments from these recordings, too. And the lyrics are touching and pretty, especially the second verse. I can't get enough of it.

My impact?!?! Love this album. The production just takes me to this plain of being, a true moment. And then the vocals, the vocals...

The phrase "more mountains" comes up in Lolita during Humbert's sort of catalog of their travels through America. Part two chapter two for the LanaBoards book club lel. Almost definitely a reach because it's such a small phrase (in context: "Distant mountains. Near mountains. More mountains; [insert detailed list of mountains]") but it's sort of interesting to note.

I think the syntax is more like so: I can, you can, we can do Can keep it all together Rather than "do can" (whatever that is)

Stuff That Shouldn't Have Been Dropped: - Queenie wanting minotaur dick - Kyle and his mom's mess - Whoever originally burned Misty at the stake - Fiona's deterioration (lbr she was at her baddest in some of those later episodes) - Zoe's killer pussy - - - Add to it tbh

Ultraviolence - Pre-Release Thread

Does the time of year it's released really matter to you guys? Also BTD and AKA, both summery albums imo, were released in January. -
[Poll] Renaming of Sirens/From The End/Quiet Now
Sitar replied to lflflflflflflflflflf's topic in Lana Thoughts
Good question. I personally think so. She definitely had an early album that she's referred to a few times in interviews, and we've always just assumed that it's Sirens. I think the fact that Sirens was actually distributed (to the teamhellions guy, people at her shows, people on MySpace who discussed it), whereas these apparently weren't indicates that it's the final result, consisting of a collection of her favorite songs plus 5 new ones. Also going from 2005 with these albums to 2006 with Sirens... They are the same recordings, so they shouldn't sound too different. Just clearer in these recent leaks -
The exact moment when I was through with American Horror Story: Coven created by Ryan Murphy and starring Jessica Lange Good thing it was the last episode I guess Also...is Misty fucking stuck in hell?
-
yazzthhhh One plus side of a leak drought is that I've been able to avoid doing anything about how long my volumes are getting. Although BCD was long ago booted to the demo album in anticipation of the final leaking...And the final sounds like such a perfect Daddy Issues closer, maybe before Break My Fall, but that puts me with four "B" songs right next to each other, which I find hideous... This order's days are numbered. I think one way to divide these would be a cappella vs. laptop with accompaniment, and then bad bitch pop (Hit & Run, Scarface) vs. cutesy pop (Break My Fall, BCD final). Also "Black Beauty - EP" sounds so bland, considering maybe "Easy Rider."

As in the concert venue? Idk any clubs called that. Well this is the concert that was there tonight: http://www.troubadour.com/event/406137-grizfolk-in-valley-below-los-angeles/ I was there last week

This reminds me of the "When the people I used to know found out what I had been doing, how I had been living, they asked me why" part of the Ride monologue.

[Poll] Renaming of Sirens/From The End/Quiet Now
Sitar replied to lflflflflflflflflflf's topic in Lana Thoughts
Gonna keep them separate, but the only name change I'm not ready to accept is "Find My Own Way" to "Move"... Haven't listened yet, does this mean we have FMOW/Move without a skip?!?! -
I merged this with the Gaga thread before the vermin came out and made it an opportunity to bash her... But I kept the poll, it's a good idea! I personally think Gypsy. Such radio bait. Snatched up fans during SNL and Howard Stern, has potential to do so nation-wide.

Ultraviolence - Pre-Release Thread
Sitar replied to lflflflflflflflflflf's topic in Retired Pre-Release Threads
I want her to channel her laptop a cappella sensibilities into a lush studio recording, with fucked up layering and scary melodies And also exploration of dark and uncomfortable themes, like...GET DRUNK Also this does sound like Catch and Release I hope everyone who said she's at Interscope's mercy and wants Live or Die is dead ass wrong -
Oh isn't the album out worldwide tomorrow?
-
Aura so consistently shits. With every listen. I'm not owning up to it being my favorite but my iTunes plays suggest otherwise...

I'm so mad at these white bitches putting normal straws in their hot drinks
