TikTok is saving the music industry and some artists' careers. I hate TikTok but I think that it's a great platform for young artists to start, like for example look how far Addison Rae has gotten, I mean her "breakthrough" or like hype started only recently but still TikTok helped her to become famous.
 
And I think that some TikTok users making edits with old and/or lesser known songs help to have a resurgence in some artists' careers when thr songs become viral.
 
I wouldn't say that TikTok helped Lana's career, definitely not, but I think ever since her songs became viral in 2022, she has been recognized a lot with the big (pop/mainstream) names of the industry, not categorized with alternative artists. Yeah, her fandom became more immature and toxic but that's with like every fandom right now lol.

Ok not that I really give a big massive fuck about north west, why is she on an fka twigs album of all things 😭 the song isn't bad imo, just a cute mindless bop that doesn't fall in place with the sibling tracks, but what was the reason to have north west as a feature. imo it didn't need to happen. it feels pointless idk

I can't believe this is right around the corner. when it was first announced it seemed so far away but the great music and visuals carried the whole rollout. Can't wait to listen.
