me, the only person inhabiting this thread with my imaginary friend Yosemite who's currently not talking to me as we have simultaneously set our relationship status to 'complicated', Yosemite refused the free coffee i was trying to buy us and has now made me lose my appetite for the sweet beans with a side of salt if i want to throw up
 

 
we're working through it however and i hope within the near future we can go home together and start a wonderful family and put away money for retirement so we can live out our days together forever making sure to duet TNC, me being the organ and Yosemite being the guitar, obviously.

I often see people discrediting Honeymoon on this community and elsewhere and calling it Lana Del Rey's worst album. But I have never understood that almost the whole fan base hate Honeymoon. Honeymoon has the highest metascore on metacritic with Lust for Life. Honeymoon, Music To Watch Boys To, Terrence Loves You, God Knows I Tried, High By The Beach, Art Deco, Religion, Salvatore, The Blackest Day, 24 and Swan Song are beautiful songs. The album photoshoot is so beautiful as well and far better than Lust for Life. So, why do people treat Honeymoon so poorly? I understand that some people dislike the Freak music video, though. High By The Beach and Music To Watch Boys to have great music videos and the music video for Honeymoon as well. Sometimes I wonder if people actually listened the album before judging it by the singles.

This is just terrible -- I can't believe it. It's absolutely sickening that somebody would do this.
 
I get so uneasy when I'm at the gas station or grocery store and I see people walking around with a gun on their hip --- after all of these terror attacks / mass violence happening in the last few years, it's hard not to be frightened.

A gunman (perhaps multiple) opened fire with what is believed to be an automatic weapon at Route 91 Harvest country music festival at Mandalay Bay Casino on the Las Vegas strip about 2 hours ago. The shooting began during Jason Aldean's performance. So far, 2 confirmed dead (some reports saying 20), 24 injured, 12 in critical condition. The Las Vegas airport was temporarily shut down & flights were being diverted.
Reports are saying the gunman has been shot by police in a room on the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay hotel, from where he had been shooting.
 
Update: ~59 dead, ~527 injured.
Gunman was 64 year old white male Stephen Paddock from Mesquite, Nevada.
Paddock died from a self-inflected gunshot wound just as police entered the room.
17 guns were found in the hotel room from which he was shooting. He had been staying in the room for 4 days.
Paddock bought guns from local gun shop "Guns & Guitars" where all necessary background checks were completed.
More guns, ammunition, and explosives were found at Paddock's home.

This physically hurts my heart. All my thoughts and love go out to everyone who was affected by this.

There's a post on the 4um somewhere about alternate song titles, too tired to look rn but maybe if i remember tomorrow. Also the Homogenic listening tape is definitely out there, I don't have it on this computer and I have no idea where I got it before. got some new stuff from OLI today, they threw in a few promos too
