She tweeted and someone replied to her saying "UGLY" (it was the first reply to the tweet so it comes up right at the top, under the tweet so Lana probably did see it if she looks at her own tweets.) He screenshot the DM and he screenshot Lana's page because it says she "blocked" him. iPhone screens are harder to fake imo because of the font, text rendering and shadows involved. And the 'blocked' screenshot would be even more harder to fake and it was so soon after the tweet. Time on the DM is pretty accurate as she was online and did tweet at the time. God I love sassy Lana.

I vote no. Magazines still edit her lips to look huge anyway I don't think she needs them to be huge irl. I saw her for the first time in real life on Sunday and her lips weren't big but she was still looking perfect.

WHAT IS EVERYONE TALKING ABOUT. I love this song. I can imagine this is what her songwriting process is like. She gets bored and opens up Garageband, gets her little notebook with lyrics up and she sings into Garageband. Adds a little reverb and echo to it. "Oh it sounds good, better add some harmonies" and then she has to fucking work out the harmonies by herself and record them in time. The fact that it's a personally recorded demo track means it was probably found when her email was ransacked. She probably emailed this to a producer like "I wanna do a song like this, can you help me out?" This is a Lana song in its purest form. There's a copy of Cola sounding like this somewhere, ya'know. What if we never had Cola and that demo leaked. We'd probably all hate it- let's be real here. I really like this song and I hope we'll find a studio version of it soon. I mean, hey, we got a studio version of 1949 as Every Man Gets His Wish so we can still hope, right?! :-)

OTTR was released as a promotional single but it should have been an actual single tbh. I feel like This Is What Makes Us Girls could have been a good single. Radio sounds good isn't radio too friendly. Diet Mountain Dew (moved from my least fav to one of my favs) would be enough to shut up the people who think she's "depressing". From Paradise, I'd say Body Electric or Burning Desire should've been singles. Cola sounds good as a single though, but too bad Lana hasn't said anything about it yet.

I think she's just talking about a classic bar or a pub. I imagine her friends are drunk and are just fumbling around the streets?

Ah yes, Utada Hikaru is one of the Japanese legends to be honest! I discovered through Kingdom Hearts (as many probably have) and my favourite song is Final Distance. I love her calm ballads. I had no idea why she tried to enter the US music industry though with the shit pop music she was made to sing. :s

I bought two copies of their latest single Sayonara Crawl to vote for my favourite members in the election (too bad I didn't for vote Acchan when she was still in the group): It's funny that you posted Yasai Sisters actually because half of those members aren't even in the group anymore it makes me sad. Also, if you wanted to know, my two favourite members are Yui and Ricchan (both from Team A): Are they not just the cutest? I'm a fan of Perfume too, Daijo Banai is currently my fav song by them! :-)

I agree that Over The Love is a much better song than Young and Beautiful. But hey, they're both very different songs and I like them both. Lana being the lead single was a blessing.

Its the chorus of the song so the first chorus could be lighter in instrumentation than the second chorus.

It's amazing. Again, not sure about the loon and other Lana-ish sounds but the song is great and Florence did a good job.

Lana changed the melody on the last "Will you still love me when I'm no longer beautiful". She sings "beautiful" up instead of down now. You can hear it in the last 0.5 seconds of the preview in the album teaser: I just thought it was interesting. I also wanna hear the orchestra instrumental version. Will the music video have a monologue too?

Did Lana play the Cola video in the background when she performed Cola? Because I freaking hope she did.

I think the vocals are too forced for such a slow song. I think it would have been better if she delivered it softer and quieter like a little whisper. It's a sad song, so sound sad, Lana! Then it can pick up through the later part of the song and end with an incredible crescendo. Is "Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful" the opening line or the chorus (or both). I think it's way too bland to be the chorus. I hope Lana has something different for that.
