- It's a storytelling album (probably thats why its called Melodrama)
- The rest of the album WONT sound like Green Light

Oh wow what a let down Green Light was. I couldn't even get through half the track before turning it off.
Its a damn shame as well. I really enjoyed The Love Club EP/Pure Heroine too. G.L sounds like any other generic track you hear on the radio right now. Definitely not worth the wait tbh

of course pop influences aren't bad like you said lana had a lot..
but i still want lorde to be lorde, her sound was unique and her lyrics amazing
and i wouldn't mind something more 'energetic'..
but the song name 'green light' and the fact that it may be produced by calvin harris makes me lose hope : /
