LP sides can be over 30mins of sound per side. The record itself just might not be very loud or other compromises in sound quality.

Also apparently a bunch of the music composed by Johnny Jewel that was composed for the revival is on his album "Windswept"

Apparently Johnny almost died in Hawaii in 2015 and destroyed all existing copies of Dear Tommy and the band completely re-recorded it (same tracklist) and that plus the scoring work he has been doing has held things up They performed Shadow on tonights premier of the Twin Peaks revival and released a Twin Peaks inspired video for the song immediately after (Semi-related, I saw someone say they'd hope for David Lynch/Lana collaboration and it made me wonder how amazing a Johnny Jewel/Lana collaboration could be)

I L O V E when she does stripped versions of her songs, they sound so good

This album is all over the goddamn place

As annoying as she can be sometimes, I don't think she gets enough credit for being 22 years old and having written two really solid concept albums (this more recent one having an amazingly strong direction), doing all of the lyrics herself, and really putting in the work to make sure everything is executed visually do this era justice. There's really not a lot of artists willing to do that anymore in the age of streaming.

I wonder how much Starrah had to do with writing the song. Did she just help Nicki with her verse or possibly the chorus too?

Swish Swish is my favorite song of the era so far. Idk why she and her label didn't put it out as the follow up to CTTR

The song was bad before the Lil Wayne verse came in but I agree it was unnecessary.

I got an email that the UO vinyl is either on backorder and new orders won't get theirs until 6/24 or the whole thing is delayed until 6/24. The email wasn't very clear as to which was the case.

I'd be much more interested in hearing TLIV live and acoustic than Vintage and Downtown (two of the worst songs on the album imo) The demo is a demo. TLIV finished, live, and acoustic is not the same thing as an unfinished piano demo.
