I don't understand. Songs like Honeymoon, MTWBT, Art Deco, Religion and Freak make you sad?  None of those songs are sad, not even a little.

That "blue" is referred to the flames that are really hot, right? It isn't "blue" in a sad-sense I think... Don't know if I get it well

Hi everyone! So I'm not that new to LanaBoards, but I haven't been here as long as some of you. Months ago searching through old threads, I couldn't help but notice that this site used to be filled with songwriters, musicians, composers, poets, singers, etc. But it's faded away so quickly. I've also found that many art projects have never seen the light of day. In making this thread, I wanted to bring the music back to LB. Not only songwriting, but all things music related. Whether you like to play a little guitar, or you have a melody stuck in your head you want to get out. Maybe you feel the need to express yourself through singing, or lyrics naturally just flow through you. Well here are the grounds to project out into the world what truly is in that soul of yours. Also, feel free to exchange ideas on what art projects you think we can work on!

I thought Art Deco was in Azealia's favor though "shining like a medal" "the queen of the downton scene" "you're not mean" etc. like it's a huge compliment wtf

The Holy Trinity, a Tropico-like film featuring Religion, Salvatore, and The Blackest Day.
So it starts with Lana getting married in Religion, she's walking through a rose garden (Burnt Norton reference) and ya a lot of bright and green visuals. Now, Lana has some monologue, she says "Salvatore was perfect for me, we were in paradise..." Next, Salvatore, here she is on her Honeymoon in Italy and it's basically just like their relationship like with the soft ice cream, then at the end, the guy leaves in a limousine (she uses "limousine" in Salvatore) and she's left all alone eating her soft ice cream outside of a villa. Lana says "I knew all along it wouldn't last, he was too crazy, too wild, we were born to die." (BTD reference ) A lot of tan and old-time sepia type visuals. Finally, The Blackest Day, in this it's raining and ya (obvi more stuff happens). Final monologue "Salvatore gone and there is nothing left, nothing to salvage, my life is over..." Then I kinda thought she'd maybe jump off a bridge like in Summertime Sadness, but just an idea. Dark dark, black, underexposed and lowly saturated visuals.

Honeymoon: I had this idea of a black and white video of Lana dressed as a bride by some Italian coast holding a bouquet of white flowers (not like the UV video, something more ethereal) Also scenes on a cruise ship with her lover but we never see the man's face at all (his face is always covered/darkened) and for the final chorus and outro a burst of colour and scenes of Lana and her man (sounds silly but it works video-wise) playing hide and seek among huge flowery trees in an old Italian hotel.
 
GKIT: An old Vegas hotel, full of neon lights. Lana lies in bed with the TV on. During the chorus rays of coloured light enter thorugh the windows and light the room. Nothing else.
 
Salvatore: video takes place in an old Italian villa, Lana looks like the L'uomo photo shoot and she's married to this maffiosi gangster (who's kinda old but hawt) most of the video consists of Lana eating soft ice cream on a huge balcony. Lots of everyday type of scenes between the two of them. Somehow Lana murders the man. During the bridge she's standing by the corpse but we don't see the dead man. Slowly the camera pans out to reveal the man lying dead by her side. For the final chorus I picture Lana being escorted by the police looking glamourous af

Terrence loves you and Honeymoon are even more heavenly live

I'm screaming bc I have no fucking idea lmafooooo I think we both laughed awkwardly and then we said bye bc fucking security pressed us. I'm finally starting to get less sad and just appreciate the fact that she was my first girl I mean it's ridiculous I can't fathom this

they used the studio samples in high by the beach which made it awkward. if they had just done it acoustically, it would have been great.

I want Emile to produce the whole record. Wait for Life-like soundscape on the whole album.

More upbeat happy songs, please ! I love what we've got so far with UV and HM but a but if you're happy, Lana, then PROVE it !! Haha
