Dear @@Elle, in all seriousness, ppl don't care about you locking the thread multiple times, giving nice friendly reminders to ppl that they should not post about leaks OR DEMAND THEM VIA PM, no1 on here curries. This is not only openly disrespectful  towards Lana but also towards you as an owner of this place and therefor authority. Members on here don't take you serious.

Why is no one from the modsquad online for hours? Why is it not organised in a way that during this time of the season, at least one of the mods or you is at any given time?

In all seriousness, ppl on here won't stop begging for leaks until you and the mods finally start taking action. Giving out warning points, restrict posting options, cut pm's, temporary or permanent bans for members. Ppl on here and not even new members, have been asking for leaks and they will continue to do so, if you guys finally don't do something more efficent about it.

Even if it wipes this forum almost empty for a period of time.

I don't know why so many people don't like "Guns and Roses"
I honestly love it! I guess it's because I love when her vocals are layered.

FBI???? LOL!!!! because there's not serious issues in the world for the FBI to deal with, they're now setting up "Special Task Fork Dark Blue", to find the source of song title leaks for Lana Del Rey!

Came back to host one last time.

This year we were truly blessed, and we got to hear songs we've been wanting since forever. 2016 was the year the mythic track "Roses" finally surfaced after years of speculation around it and its notorious absence from people's hard drives before this person ( @Eclipse ) managed to snatch it. Yes Eclipse leaked Roses. Other long-awaited songs that we all thought got lost in time also saw the light of the day this year: "BBM Baby," "Caught You Boy," "Girl That Got Away" and critically acclaimed, meant-to-be-single, Nobel Prize winner, career highlight "Resistance." We also learnt about the existence of recordings like "Other Woman", or confirmation of titles like "Super Movie" and "Dance For Money". And how could I forget, this year also gave us Ultraviolence era left-overs "Fine China" and "Yes to Heaven" — in some way, because we got edited versions (leak original files @Eclipse while writing my speech Miss @Eclipse came trough with original files ).

2017 is looking quite good too. Titles like "I Want It All" and "Your GirI" are being hyped upon (leak Your GirI @Eclipse ), but some people - with bad taste - are also looking forward for titles such as "My Song 57," "Diet Mt. Dew Baby" and "Daddy's Girl". And maybe once again an unexpected, long-awaited track could surface, like the elusive "Ruby Tuesday" or the song Lana pulled-an-Eclipse-on-us with "Life is Beautiful".

Enough talk. The winner of "Leak of the Year 2016" is:

Hey, it was me. I'll find my original post and paste it here.

I don't know if you guys ever realized that, but the Honeymoon instrumentals (and vocals) play a lot around the "time present and time past are both perhaps present in time future" theme (and some people here even say the Burnt Norton interlude is useless in the album, when, in fact, it's a major role in the understandment of the album themes) which I believe is a central role in the album and the thoughts Lana put in its creation.

Like, if you listen to "Music to Watch Boys to" you can hear, right in the beggining, that the chorus without instrumental goes forward, while, in the back sound, the echoes are played backwards.

We have this again in "High by the Beach" with the vocals being played going high and being repeated right after backwards and that goes throughout the entire song, everytime these "scream" (yawns? I don't know how to describe it) appear. The instrumental itself is also going forward and backwards sometimes.

Art Deco brings it again, with the trip beats in the beggining being played forward and backwards. The instrumental in Burnt Norton is essencially this. Played forward and backwards, forward and backwards, giving the feeling of an endless loop.

At the end or Religion the beats slow down to bring Salvatore, where the flutes are first going up and in a second beind played in reverse.

And the best of all, right in the beggining you have the sound of a man crying compulsively, which is repeated a lot of times. The cry itself lenghts less than a second, but they repeat it like, 9 times, so it seems like a continously cry. At the end of the bridge, when the violins rise again (at the end of the piano part) you can see that the cry is now going up, like a laugh, 'cause they're playing it backwards. God, it's fu**ing amazing. This part is more notorious if you listen to the instrrumental isolated, you can find it in here:

I listened some of the same pattern in the Swan Song instrumental, but right now I'm not remembering to tell you especifically. Overall, that's just shows how Lana is a fu**ing incredible artist, how everything is planned and she is really focused in materializing an idea, a thought, a belief in what she creates. It's simply overwhelming.

I was waiting for @PARADIXO to post the last song, Born To Die, but probs been busy all day.
Born To Die and its video is honestly iconic. It sucks that I was first introduced to the song by a remix but when I actually listened to it and watched the video in all of its glory, I fell in love. Actually. It was like the Bel Air scene of Tropico and I was being beamed up by Lana herself I'm being extra af but I love this song, this video, the aesthetics and... this album.
Happy half-a-decade birthday to Born To Die, the album that changed my life. It made me realize how much I love music and how much I can connect to just one artist.

I love this song so much, one of the best on Born To Die. I've seen many fans look down on it just because it's her most popular but either way it's beautiful, especially the bridge
