its so weird to see people constantly trying to justify the death of a black person killed in the hands of police and on the other side of the spectrum you have people thanking said black person for being "killed" (they were murdered, not just killed. they werent putting their lives out there for the sake of the community, their lives were taken from them against their will) because an officer finally got the punishment he deserves and to them its justice even though NOTHING has changed in the system so that doesnt happen again. an officer being put in jail doesnt take away their death. and it sure as hell doesnt prevent the innocent deaths that will be continued in a racist system. im not saying that im not happy chauvin (in this case) is going to prison. i am - he deserves it. and i can be put at peace that a murderer was caught and will now be punished.. but that's it. i feel weird trying to say that justice has been served when i know that this is going to happen again considering it already has - multiple times. *just want to say im not a POC, i dont want brownie points or anything - but if i said something that was out of line or anything please let me know as i dont have that personal connection to this. i can acknowledge and support those who do though and be educated on these topics so i can learn and understand how to support those who have to suffer this problem even more and stand behind them in trying to end it.

Yes, but there was a reasoning for the shaved head hairstyle (I mean britney was going THROUGH it and did it during one of the most difficult points in her life where she wasnt very healthy (not that you can blame her) - so the crazed line goes beyond just her hairstyle which is why it’s a little...icky.. even though i understand marinas intention that mental illness was not something a lot of people at the time felt empathy for, especially celebs. Its changed of course but bringing it up the way she did was not the best. I still kinda like the line as a britney fan and marina fan but there was a MUCH better way of writing it. Especially if she wrote something after the crazed part like “but all she really deserved was to be praised/saved/ etc” or something like that... but the save one I’m iffy on cause brits father being in control of her has not saved her. so I don’t know maybe just another few lines referencing celebs (maybe not by name) but more so their scandalous moments that deserved to be empathized with cause there was a reason they happened (since a lot of 2000s pop stars were also child stars) where as having gray hairs is natural occurrence. anyway sorry for my rambling I am slightly tipsy so if a sentence is wacky that’s why Anyway hope ur all having a good day you deserve it ^-^

thus far i am absolutely loving the music and visuals, it feels like it takes bits and pieces of her first three albums to create something new and it just feels so...marina dont mean to get personal on the music forums but i havent felt like this for a while about an artist's new music release, its not the same as it used to be in middle and high school but, its nice to feel excitement for something again instead of going through life without anything to look forward to, which in turn causes other issues of not wanting to exist or whatever. even if its just temporary its a nice feeling. obviously marina (and other artists) dont owe me anything, but i really do appreciate the fact they share their work for us to enjoy, analyze, and connect to.

this title of the album really gives me lizzy vibes but the revenge she mentions reminds me of some of the songs on UV that are filled with sarcasm of how she’s seen in the industry (fucked my way up to the top) thay and what she said about qftc about being able to go back and sing about her glamour, her perspective within her relationship, stripping etc. anyway im just hoping we somehow tie all of this together into one great album Somehow im kinda drunk so my mind isn’t fully there
