Magdalena Bay is a pop duo comprised of Mica Tenenbaum (songwriting and vocals) and Matthew Lewin (songwriting, vocals and production). The duo has been writing together since high school and started making pop as Magdalena Bay in 2016. Deftones is a Californian alternative metal/alternative rock band that formed in Sacramento circa 1988. The band currently consists of Chino Moreno (lead vocals and guitar), Stephen Carpenter (guitar), Abe Cunningham (Drums), and Frank Delgado (keyboard) [HONORABLE MENTION to the late Chi Cheng who was the band's bassist up until a fatal car accident in 2008, which led him to die in 2013.) The members also have many side projects. Lead singer Chino Moreno is the frontman of Team Sleep, Crosses, Palms, and supergroup Saudade. Stephen Carpenter works with Sol Invicto and Kush. And Frank Delgado is a member of a DJ group called Decibel Devils.

Honestly I think the first minute - like exactly one minute and two seconds - of Genesis is the most beautiful sound ever created by any human (?) being period. It destroys me every time and I listen to it several times a day it just... It just is insane? Like how? How could she think of that? I mean it's not my favourite song of all time by any means, I enjoy very much the rest of the song for sure but man, this first minute, if I become deaf one day it's one of the things I will miss hearing the most. It's so fucking beautiful, it's ethereal, it's every positive attribute I can think of

I can see her being very “transactional” with people that aren’t in her close circle but… so what? The whole Alice thing seems silly and Alice often goes on these rants that seem very mentally unstable. Like Azealia level rants.
