Emmet 56 Posted December 27, 2014 If Lana doesn't release any more music between now and the tour, what is your ideal tour setlist? Mine would be; Cola (love this as an opener) Cruel World (shortened, that song is way too long in my opinion)Blue Jeans Body Electric (begin acoustically-like at the El Rey, and then pickup into the rock-heavy version) Gods and Monsters West Coast Born To Die Ultraviolence Brooklyn Baby (please???) Money Power Glory Fucked My Way Up To The Top Black Beauty Guns and Roses Ride Shades of Cool Summertime Sadness Young and Beautiful Video Games Trying to keep it as realistic and optimistic as possible. I think I put far too many Ultraviolence songs in the middle...
MermaidMotelle 279 Posted December 27, 2014 I'm willing to hear anything, really... It's so hard to create an ideal playlist. I'm praying she'll play Blue Jeans, though!! Cola (love this as an opener) 0 Quote Also known as BlueAsJeans on AltBoards
Macintosh Manhattan 6,512 Posted December 27, 2014 Cruel World (inc Let the light In snippet that she denied us on the album version ) Ultraviolence Born To Die Gods & Monsters Shades Of Cool Summertime Sadness Old Money Pretty When You Cry Blue Jeans West Coast Brooklyn Baby Money Power Glory National Anthem Ride I Can Fly Black Beauty/Florida Kilos (Either way I would be happy tbh) Video Games
Platinum Greenwich 13,879 Posted December 27, 2014 I feel like Florida Kilos would slay as an opener. That's all.
Bae 565 Posted December 27, 2014 I don't really care about the songs. But I would LOVE flipside as the closing... they could play the guitar outro while lana goes into the crowd. I really want florida kilos too. She could point the mic at the crowd and everyone would scream YAAAYO
Rebel 3,177 Posted December 27, 2014 Ultraviolence from start to finish would be nice.

But it would be so amazing, it is very summery and would be beautiful in the outdoor settings.

Why did you not include Sad Girl Chill y'all she will never sing Florida Kilos live, remember when the crowd chanted it and she sung Old Money instead? Yeah that song is way too cheerful/fast/whatever she's not gonna perform it at one of her concerts Flipside was meant to be a closing song
Thunder Revenant 20,977 Posted December 27, 2014 Florida Kilos and Flipside need to happen live. 0 Quote Just do it. Just do it - don't wait!
Anthem 1,559 Posted December 27, 2014 Cruel World Cola Shades of Cool Million Dollar Man Money, Power, Glory Blue Jeans Born to Die Video Games Summertime Sadness West Coast Fucked My Way Up to the Top Ride Old Money Flipside/National Anthem Whichever wasn't played from 14 Tried to be realistic, except that I think there's a chance Flipside might never be performed live. She's got so much new/good music now that her setlist is really going to have to lengthen to get it all. Is it too ambitious to hope that she might have one or two songs from her new album on the setlist towards the end of the tour? 0 Quote Goddesses don't speak in whispers. They scream. Sitar 22,218 Posted December 27, 2014 Cruel World Body Electric Sad Girl Ultraviolence Big Eyes Ride Black Beauty Young & Beautiful Pretty When You Cry Old Money Video Games Shades of Cool Brooklyn Baby I Can Fly Summertime Sadness West Coast "Born to Die" and "Cola" are officially boring live, "National Anthem" needed to be ditched long ago and "West Coast" could easily be stretched into a long outro with those synths,
Creyk 11,727 Posted December 27, 2014 Cruel World West Coast Pretty When You Cry Summertime Sadness Shades Of Cool Sad Girl Ultraviolence Born To Die Ride [short break where the long intro + video plays) Old Money Money Power Glory Fucked My Way Up To The Top Video Games Optional: changing songs on various nights, alternating between: Y&B/Is This Happiness/Teasing songs from upcoming album (you know she will do this) Black Beauty Brooklyn Baby This includes most of UV and also her signature songs, BB is a really loved song so you know, save the best for last Plus it's instrumental can also work in a longer setup while she goes and greets fans
FLA to the Moon 137 Posted December 28, 2014 I think that with ULTRAVIOLENCE, there is a sense that Lana is portraying her love life through common stages we all fall under (of being in and out of the state of love). Don't scold me for this comparison, but I think that there is a cycle that is portrayed in this album, the same way Marina and the Diamonds did with the 4 Archetypes of ELECTRA HEART. Lana, of course, is more subtle about it with her less commanding and less theatrical presence. Anyways, I'm basing my set list off of Attraction Attachment Anxiety Aggression/(Un)Availability (of her lovers). MY SET LIST (I am not expecting her to divide her show up into full interludes like Gaga does with her tours) PART ONE: Attraction Ultraviolence with an extended intro Shades of Cool Blue Jeans Body Electric *wild card* I wish we had more live versions of "Off To The Races"!!! PART TWO: Attachment Brooklyn Baby I Can Fly West Coast Burning Desire Video Games Black Beauty PART THREE: Anxiety Pretty When You Cry Gods and Monsters Money Power Glory Fucked My Way Up To The Top Young and Beautiful Born To Die Old Money PART FOUR: Aggression/(Un)Availability Video Games Ride The Other Woman Is This Happiness Flipside (Lana interacts with fans, and I agree that this was meant to be a closing song!) ENCORE: Cruel World as a finale, I think, would be an amazing final teasing of the crowd. I imagine roses and balloons and loud standing ovations! PLUS Florida Kilos for the West Palm Beach show and Guns and Roses if there's a Detroit show
PARADIXO 33,109 Posted December 28, 2014 Won't even do this cause the setlist will be the same
National Anthem 9,906 Posted December 28, 2014 I'm not too picky but I need/would love to hear these: Blue Jeans Cruel World Pretty When You Cry Big Eyes Old Money Cola Bel Air I know "Bel Air" probably won't happen but still
Bae 565 Posted December 28, 2014 "Born to Die" and "Cola" are officially boring live Come on, there's nothing more fun than screaming "my pussy tastes like pepsi cola" along w lanz
Mario 184 Posted December 28, 2014 Tired of Cola live tbh... but The Other Woman and Flipside need to be done live.
Divisive Princess 3,755 Posted December 28, 2014 Every single song from BTD. Every single song from UV. All of my favorite unreleased songs. Obviously unrealistic, but a nice thought.
