The deluxe songs feel (imo) like they’re a transition from Pang to Desire sonically which makes them have like an era of its own so to speak…

i love it! It brought even more essence to Desire. Very solid

It doesn't click for me either, yet I do understand that these tracks probably fit the concept te most and are an extension to that body of work and Angeline would be 'off'.

 

She should just make a collection of unreleased stuff and sell it on Bandcamp, maybe add to it to over the years with updates or new additions, but she's too perfectionist for that and artists don't do that in general. And I can also understand that she might just want to wait 'till she can fit them into some 'world'. 

 

I want her to release more scraps, she recorded a lot of covers during COVID-19 and teased a song or two we didn't get. I want them.

Usually acoustic versions of songs are kinda boring to me but I Believe (Acoustic) kinda eats the original up the instrumentals are so good, the song sounds exactly like what the cover looks like. This deluxe really adds nicely to the album. She also randomly added Long Road Home to the tracklist which I love, I was so confused about why it wasn't included on the Everasking Edition in the first place. It fits in so well, especially with the Billions reference in it. And 2 of the other deluxe songs are also reworks/covers of songs by other artists so its inclusion makes a lot of sense.
