No LLL was in 2017, which was after the release of Moth which was Chairlift’s last album under the name. The set was performed under Chairlift but it was basically just Caroline Polachek’s debut show with solo material.

I can't remember if I posted this previously but I am really loving Pang at the moment, it's such a great mix of interesting textures and sounds, but brilliant pop as well. Just listened to The Gate extended and it's super spacey and ethereal, and a track that if you cue it up serves as kind of the perfect closer for the album.

her PANG album is a visual masterpiece. i'm not a huge fan of her work, which in this case means i dont accompany all of her work, but the photoshoot for PANG is astonishing. 

i love that she made a picture/visual for every song

As a synesthete, I think what makes PANG so special to me, is the fact that every song makes you feel comforted by a familiar feeling. In an AMA she said that was her goal with the album, making a collection of songs that could adapt to many different inner monologues and experiences. And I just think that was so freaking cool. Just remembering the day she dropped Door and how I was immediately captivated and felt like I had been a fan of this woman since I can remember. It was like she was singing FOR my soul and hers at the same time. Tbh If Caroline were to write a book full of her narratives, similar with her story times for each song on Pang, I would literally buy ten copies. She’s just a genius that I am endlessly fascinated by, period.
