I think that is probably the inevitable, unfortunately. She's not working through her record deal obligations and it's essentially a staring contest between sky and capitol. Capitol will win and sky will have lost years to a very expensive vision.

Capitol Records has recently been made aware of claims made publicly by a group of individuals operating under the collective pseudonym 'Free Sky Ferreira.' These individuals identify themselves as activists with the goal of protesting alleged unfair conditions pertaining to the recording contract of Capitol Records artist Sky Ferreira. The aforementioned claims, including but not limited to the explicit statements that the release of Ms. Ferreira's music has been maliciously prevented by Capitol Records and that Ms. Ferreira has been held "hostage" by Capitol Records are unfounded and untrue. Ms. Ferreira has been presented with numerous resources and opportunities to produce and deliver material for commercial release which have gone repeatedly unfulfilled. A collaborative effort between Capitol Records and Ms. Ferreira remains ongoing. Furthermore the various defamatory allegations made by the 'Free Sky Ferreira' group and reiterated by Ms. Ferreira herself fall under the statutory definition of libel and as such are actionable as per California law.

So did capital finally say “here bishhh do this tour and quit complaining” so she can finally finish the album? Or I wonder if this is some random promoter putting these shows together again? I mean she better finish the album if she’s been raising funds through the tours. It seems like she’s finally pulling it together to make it happen on her own. But you never know with her

I mean you can get an hour in a recording booth for £35- Im pretty sure she could just record in the UK and get a song done vocally in an hour with harmonies if warmed up
