10milestereo 228 Posted November 18, 2012 Going to shows is probably my favorite pastime, so I thought it would be cool to have a thread in which we list concerts we have attended and/or will be attending. I never have money and living in Australia doesn't really help either since most big shows are $70 minimum, so I mostly go to local gigs. But uh anyway, top 3 bigger artists would have to be: Leonard Cohen Lana (obviously~) Regina Spektor Honorable mention to Tegan and Sara who opened for another show and were adorable.

Baby V Alex 2,859 Posted November 18, 2012 OMG!! you guys have been in a lot of concerts, I hate living in Mexico where my faves never come grrrr but here's my list Britney Spears - Dream Within' a Dream Tour Britney Spears - The Femme Fatale Tour Vanessa Hudgens - Identified Summer Tour Commin Madonna - MDNA Tour I've never been to a concert. My parents didn't allow me to see Fiona Apple last month, still pissed about that. I hope I can see Lana if she does a show in NY next year. On a side note, Matt I KNOW IT'S NOT FROM A BRITNEY SONG BUT I'M A BRITNEY FAN AND THAT'S WHAT WE DO... this reminds me of Breathe on Me tbh

St. V is always a pleasure to see (I even ran into her at the Fiona Apple show!), Joanna blew my mind and needs to get her ass back on tour so I can see her again, and PJ is someone I had been wanting to see for many years before I finally had the chance last year. She was brilliant. Tune-Yards was really fun! It was a year before her second album came out, so she was playing a lot of those songs, but most of them didn't have names at the time. I would LOVE to see Leonard Cohen, but his tickets are SO expensive. I actually saw Cate Le Bon opening for St. Vincent, but I didn't include openers because I can't remember all of them. Yeasayer, Daughn Gibson (I am OBSESSED with his album), Zola, Depeche Mode, and Bat For Lashes (hopefully she announces US tour dates soon) are all on my list of artists to see. So cool that you saw TLC too! I was obsessed with them when I was a kid!

Sitar 22,213 Posted November 18, 2012 Coming up: Patrick Wolf I bet he'll be great! Emulating you all right now, I live right near LA so I should see way more concerts than I have, but take into account that my music taste veers drastically from most of my friends and I can't yet brave LA traffic. I've seen Say Anything live and that was just incredible. It was so crazy and sweaty and hectic. It was intimate enough that the entire crowd made one mosh-pit and I got punched in the stomach several times. Anyway, the opening acts were The Front Bottoms, Fake Problems, and Kevin Devine--they were all really good, so worth mentioning. The only other concert I've been to was Jonny Craig, and I'm not really a big fan of him but his voice is really sexy. Sat in the upper deck at the Troubadour in LA and could see him getting a BJ backstage through a little window, so there's that. The opening acts were dreadful and Jonny broke his wrist so it ended early In January I'm seeing Lady Gaga and I'm excited out of my mind for that. If Lana tours the US, there's no way I won't see her. tl;dr - - Say Anything (The Front Bottoms, Fake Problems, Kevin Devine) - Jonny Craig - Upcoming: Lady Gaga
