Lana's Songs That Would Suit Other Movies/TV Shows

Recommended Posts

Lana has done many songs for movies and TV shows. But there are also many (famous) movies and shows where Lana hasn't been part of a soundtrack. Which Lana's songs would suit in a movie or TV show soundtrack where she hasn't been part of?

Million Dollar Man : To Catch a Thief (1955)

If I'm not wrong, did Lana actually use the clips from this movie for MDM homemade music video?

Old Money or Art Deco would've been brilliant in The Great Gatsby. Even better than Young & Beautiful, although, I haven't seen the movie, I only know the context and the aesthetics.

24 for Spectre.

Million Dollar Man, Shades Of Cool Honeymoon, Salvatore for any kind of Mafia/gangster movie, for example The Godfather (I wrote MDM and HM in bold because few days ago I wrote that these songs seem to be about the same person and I guess these two songs describe a Mafioso perfectly). Shades Of Cool would be perfect for Breaking Bad honestly.

The Blackest Day for Jackie.

Swan Song for Spencer or Blonde. (Again, I haven't seen those movies but I know the context behind them). The fanmade edit for Jackie with this song in YT was perfect too.

When I first saw Two Lovers I thought of Ride but NFR's California would suit it too, although it takes place in NYC.

When The World Was At War for The Sound Of Music and Hunger Games.

Fine China for Marie Antoinette (that famous fanmade edit for this movie with this song was brilliant).

Elvis for Elvis. Velvet Crowbar or Living Legend would have suited too, I think. National Anthem too, even more than Jackie or anything about the Kennedys honestly - National Anthem reminds me of Elvis & Priscilla overall.

Hollywood for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

13 Beaches or Terrence Loves You for Lost In Translation. Terrence Loves You would be brilliant for a David Bowie documentary too.

Put Me In A Movie or Butterflies Pt 2 for Lolita.

Thunder demo would be great for a biopic for a British rock star.

Is This Happiness for Joker.

Dealer for Leon.

Candy Necklace or Old Money for Titanic (I saw an amazing Candy Necklace edit for Titanic).

Lust For Life first demo for Lust For Life.

Breaking Up Slowly for George & Tammy.

Off To The Races for Pulp Fiction.

Mariners Apartment Complex, Change, Wait For Life, Hope, The Greatest for documentaries.

I still can't get over the fact that 24 wasn't chosen for Spectre's Bond song, it would've been so perfect :crying5: she would've won her first Oscar because Bond songs easily win every time

Million Dollar Man - Shades Of Cool - 24 aka the James Bond holy trinity. Burning Desire would've fit Bond too but these three songs have the biggest Bond vibes out there. It's just unbelievable that she hasn't done a soundtrack for the movie. Easy Oscar winner.

That music critic was so genius who said that Shades Of Cool sounds like a song from a James Bond movie directed by Quentin Tarantino.
