A&W is one of, if not, her best songs lyrically. Tough is way more radio friendly (unless you cut out the first half of A&W) so the amount of streaming makes sense. stream numbers are just numbers at the end of the day, but it's a shame some of her best music gets overlooked

A&W di really well streaming wise, given its length and darkness. It's her 53rd most streamed song on the platform, and third off of OB. 

 

Tough will overcome it for sure (it's doing 5 times the streaming numbers), but only because it's shorter and more radio friendly.

 

Don't think about it much, it doesn't take away from A&Ws' success (one of the most critically acclaimed songs of the year with a Grammy nod to boot).

idk, comparing singles to album songs is like comparing apples to oranges and Tough is almost the only new release in 2024

it's clearly doing better than Take Me Home, but it was also released with more promotion

it's lowkey funny to see that when the snippets were released in may everybody were so excited and hyped for this but when the song was released people got over it pretty quickly and now almost everybody are bored of it lmao and seems like majority seems to dislike it today  i don't dislike it though, i'm not a fan either but i'm still in love with the bridge part. crime that it outstreamed a&w though, i know that they're very different songs though but i have a feeling that quavo fans are streaming it more than lana's, i haven't seen any hype around the song in lana's fandom today, like months after the release, in general.

I just removed it from the last playlist I had it on yesterday. I did feel guilty about though.

I still like it but I’ve associated it with summer so it’s hard to get back to it in November for me  Tough doing so great in terms of steaming is not surprising: it’s a good format for streaming. It’s nothing revolutionary - I mean, A&W is miles better - but it’s really easy-listening.

I still love the track, it's her one conventional bop this decade.
 

And given how quickly it out-streamed some 150 songs of her discography, including BTD tracks, and made it to top 50, I don't think I agree with the comment that it didn't resonate or is fading out.

But hey, at least Tough is about to outstream Venice Bitch and other top songs.

 

Fyi, VB is probably my favorite song of all time (of anyone's discography),  but I'm glad Tough is still doing well (near 400,00 streams on Spotify daily)/
