The reason they're upset is because a vote for Jill Stein is pretty much a vote for Trump, who is even more pro-Israel than Kamala and if he wins Palestine will likely cease to exist whereas Kamala at least advocates for a ceasefire. Also, I'm not gonna comment on your friends bc it's not my place to at all but that's likely why others feel that way.
