It’s gonna be so interesting to see the Democratic Primary in 2028. They no longer have a winning coalition. 90% LGBTQ+, 90% of non-white women, and only ~50% of white women cannot win them any future elections. They’re gonna need to veer to a much more populist economic platform that focuses less on race, gender, and sexual equality and appeals to white middle class Americans ‍💀😭

They’re more interested in the economy, cost of living, groceries, salaries etc. they’re not worried about lgbt issues or wars in other countries. Unfortunately the dems catered to a percentage of the population who is on Twitter. They talked about issues that don’t matter to the majority of Americans. Dems are going to have to focus on the people who aren’t the loudest if they want to get back in office

this is what confiuses me with the lack of latino catoering being made and shown by the democratic party? most latinos are republicans which is crazy, they are also a huge majority. While im aware that latinos are very christian conservative, if you tell them you will protect them and their freinds childrens right to live in america. (something trump just changed with a new inteprotation of the decleration) you can tap into an insane voter base, and that would trickle off into everyday citizens that work or live in majority latino areas and let it trickle down. there are 63m latinos, half voted and majority of them voted for trump. mainly because they just dont know how against them he is.

It doesn’t surprise me at all that Latinos’s vote more conservative because they literally value conservative things. Democrats are disrespectful towards religion. They are pro-choice and they don’t value the same way. Conservatives do and Latino people are extremely family oriented..
