I don’t think there is anyone that would have defeated Trump. Voters just cared the most about inflation and blamed it on the incumbent party.

She did win all of her California races, but yeah, she was one of the most unpopular 2020 primary candidates.

I agree. They saw the inherited Obama economy as favorable. Meanwhile we’re quite literally living in Trump’s tax plan and everyone hates it.

honestly shocked to see how badly she's performing, maybe i'm just misguided, but she seemed to have some good momentum, especially in comparison to biden, who i'm sure wouldn't have done much better, i mean, most people, even on the democratic side, just think he's too old to run again

To be honest i’ve felt a Trump Victory since the assassination attempt. Dems have been to unpopular with Sleepy Joe and now Copmala. It was a hail mary at this point constantly electing the worse candidates possible to go against him

Yeah I have to say I feel like Kamala really overdid it with the celebrities

When cost of living is a key election issue then I don't know that trotting out billionaires like Beyonce and Oprah is particularly helpful

People tend to vote against someone instead of FOR someone, too

The Democrats have been in power for the past four years, so a lot of people would feel that anything that happened during those four years is their fault kinda thing (despite the fact that someone else couldn't have necessarily handled things any better)

At least with Biden it would’ve been a swift and clean kill and we wouldn’t be reeling from, once again, a qualified woman getting screwed over by the American people
