Genuinely don’t understand why he’s imposing tariffs on all these countries. The only reason I can think of is to control other countries and create fear especially since he keeps delaying it but still..

I mean in the case of Australia, the US has a trade surplus, not a trade deficit, and he's STILL going to impose tariffs. The US is becoming untrustworthy and unpredictable, and other countries are just gonna go "fuck it, it's not worth the trouble" and trade with other countries instead. Contrary to what Donald thinks, the US is not the centre of the universe and there are plenty of other options for pretty much everything.

Loved the footage of Canadian bottle shops putting away all the Jack Daniels, etc. He thinks he's so big and tough but if everyone claps back like that, the US economy is gonna hurt.

I don’t blame yall, I wouldn’t trust our politicians either 
I’m glad to see countries like Canada standing their ground, and I hope more nations follow. Leaders who don’t stand up to dump truck are allowing him to walk all over them and are unfortunately encouraging his behavior. 
 

I think it’s safe to say we are at the beginning of a recession atp. Even if we experience Great Depression pt. 2, the maggot cult will still somehow blame it on DEI and Biden for setting Trump up. Trump will prioritize protecting billionaires over the rest of the country, so he won’t care if the economy crashes. Dump truck and all his buddies will be just fine ofc

I’ve had the flu tho so information about anything important isn’t sticking and it’s hurting my never ending headache.

Trump will not get far with his selfish policies. Basically, he is considerably weakening the US and its trading partners with the tariffs, but above all the US. In a globalized world with many players, cooperation is key. The other countries will now move closer together and benefit from this, especially China, while the US will lose even more ground.

Tbh Chris Murphy from Connecticut is having his moment and setting up an interesting platform which imo should get him into Senate leadership. He’s the only logical answer cause Schumer is not our savior. And AOC should primary Schumer!

 

I was also thinking about 2028 and could see Chris Murphy doing something there. Biggest underdog I would absolutely support without question is Shawn Fain. That would be huge, and not entirely out of the realm of possibility. I’d also tentatively support Gretchen Whitmer, Andy Beshear, Tim Walz…
