I don’t think it sounds like Midnights much. It’s much darker and moodier. Way more lyrical. Maybe BTTWS-esque. The wedding ring lyric tho 😭😭

Pleasantly surprised by this album as someone who doesn't really care for Taylor as a person like that. It's how I wanted Midnights to sound like, while still clearly in that same universe as a sister album like Folklore/Evermore, Reputation/Lover
