The song is beautiful but what struck me is that the melody is exactly the same as the one from Twigs's Measure Of A Man. Not just the chorus or a verse but the whole song so that can't be a coincidence. https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=UwIN9gIFsys&si=htjxstm8eXvpGECa There's no shared credited writer between both song nor any acknowledgment of a cover or an interpolation and no one seems to talk about it. Unless it's a rework of an old song that is legally cleared, I don't understand. Funnily both songs seem to be released as part of a soundtrack but I don't think that the movie/series associated with it are connected. Here is what Celeste had to say about This Is Who I Am : Quote This song has existed for a long time, and it felt almost unjust that circumstances didn’t allow it to come out four years ago. Now, with everything aligning, this moment serves as a powerful acknowledgement of something that, back then, felt unresolved. That statement is intriguing and my intepretation is that it might have been blocked legally by Measure of a man being released but she doesn't mention the song so I can't be sure.
