It's the same length (+ a second) as the first version, but is horribly produced. It sounds quite unfinished and strips away the hypnotic quality of the original as a result.

They did...wow, incredibly dumb move. Maybe they're re-uploading the original through a pre-order? I shudder to think that they could be replacing it with version 2 on the album.

I hate the new iTunes version! That is seriously the most stupid thing they could've done. Her label obviously don't know how to sell stuff. I'm so not gonna buy the new stupid version!

 

I imagine they'll combine the sales with the previous version, like when singles are taken down in favor of preorders.

 

Hopefully this is just a "single version"

Just listened to the sample on iTunes and you can definitely understand her more, but I think that West Coast was doing exceptional despite the fact that people thought she was mumbling. I really wish they didn't edit her voice because I thought the first version was amazing and really captured her hauntingly beautfiful voice.

My only complaint about the new version is that they tonned down the high pitch sound near the end. The final chorus with that sick noise resumed the whole song to me: romantic but also tragic and dark, and that was what made it stood up...
