ngl I thought the Black Beauty demo intended for Tropico is the demo leaked ages ago, but if there's yet another version bring it on :brows:

And I'm loving that Tropico interlude / audio y'all are linking, it's so beautiful! :flutter:

i think the untouchable 5 demo of black beauty was for paradise, there's apparently another demo of it from late 2012 which would be the tropico version by technicality

Ok I'm lost, did Lana scrap three albums before Ultraviolence? Cause everybody is making Tropico, Trans AM and Melancholia albums :raven:

lolol not precisely. Tropico was indeed a project that sort of evolved into Ultraviolence (more acoustic leaned akin Nectar, Cherry Blossom, Dragonslayer, Living Legend, UFB, Earthquakes type of sound), but Trans Am and Melancholia are not actual albums.

Melancholia was an old song that got reworked into UV title track, and that's why many of us like to call our UV unreleased collections that.

And Trans Am was something speculated to be a title of an unleaked scrapped track as it appears somewhere (can't recall if it's in the album booklet or in a photo of her in the studio with a notebook or something) but it's been almost a decade and we still don't know what Trans Am is.

EDIT: what appears in the booklet is Living Legend.

Did You Know There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd:

1.       The Grants

2.       Ocean Blvd

3.       Sweet

4.       A&W

5.       Jimmy Interlude

6.       Candy Necklace

7.       Peppers

8.       Fingertips

9.       Kintsugi

10.     Let The Light In

11.     Grandfather

12.     Paris, Texas

13.     Margaret

14.     Fishtail

15.     Taco Truck

the interludes feel really unnecessary and some of the titles could be shortened… Also the Jimmy part in A&W as an interlude sounds just right. Taco Truck doesn’t need VB attached… I don’t know what’s up with that :fabcat:

Otherwise another great album by miss Lana :trisha:

Finally feel like I've gotten this to a place I'm extremely happy with! Also, condensing this album down really does make it her strongest and most interesting alongside Ultraviolence and NFR!

just realized you have BTD at sept 2013. these songs were recorded from 2009-2011 so i dont think she'd keep songs from only that time frame for this release date.

maybe if the earlier albums replaced the 2011/2010 songs with more 2008/7 songs for an earlier date so the albums you list after them be move to an earlier date?

Same. And the break between all albums is too short. Wait at least a whole year.
