I love girls, I wonder who it's about, I don't think it's lorde. 'i don't know if you like me, sometimes I think you might hate me' / 'you still might wanna see me fall over and failing' I don't know lorde but she doesn't seem that type? from the song she:

• might hate/be hated by/be jealous of charli
• is always asking to go out but it's awkward when they do
• talks about making music together but charli isn't sure if it's serious
• has the same hair
• is like charli, but charli thinks they're opposites & don't have much in common (to talk about at least)
• writes poetry (or just poetic lyrics)
• would be a popular choice for a collab
• probably needs to loosen up (charli thinks she should come to her party)

part of me wondered if it's marina; charli started randomly bringing up their 'froot looks familiar' incident recently, she has a song called girls, she's writing poems, they went to the brits in 2015 and pretended they were sisters (dark hair, brown eyes), but I don't think the internet would go 'crazy' at them collaborating in the 2020s, 2010s maybe...  they did go to the same covid party a while back but I think it was just an LA thing and they weren't photographed together. in general I think it's probably someone more high profile than marina.

Could be demos for other projects/artists. Plus it's not like in the past we've seen demos for songs that were much "lighter" than what the finals were.
