brandon 12,046 Posted February 28 okay i don’t wanna be the absolute mayor of hatersville so i’ll clarify i do in fact see the vision and get what she’s going for and the cover does work very well for streaming & digital but… when it comes to physicals, especially vinyls - I just feel like the art should be prettier, or just more interesting at the very least. no one is seeing a pixelated “brat” in ariel over a lime green background and thinking “wow! i’d love to display this in my home!” and if the cover ever was changed - it would be the digital version that would be changed.. because it’s done with a click of a button and does not require reprinting vinyl sleeves... but that’s the ONE place this cover actually works so that would just feel kinda useless you could also argue that the vinyl variants might have different covers but i have a certain inkling that they’ll just be the same thing with different neon backgrounds (don’t hit me with an “i’m not reading all that” 😭 i know i just like talking!!!) 0 Quote last.fm Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
