I made my own fan-made merch & I really want to print it already...

I painted the Tropico poster (that was b&w) on photoshop & removed all the writings, and made an HQ version of the logo,

Should I actually make that (and maybe even sell that) ??

Lana needs to hire you, stat; as much as I wanna support her, I'm not going to spend my coins on ugly, expensive merch I'll wear like once that's going to get thrown somewhere in my room.

I would buy this. I love the snake imagery she had going on in the Paradise era. You should try to sell it  :)

So I realized the nerdiest shit ever here we go

GifsPro-iddoldol001962-Close-up-of-male-

in Get Free, when Lana sings "I'm crossing the threshold from the ordinary world to the reveal of my heart", she's literally referring to the character arch of a heroic character in literature/fantasy as written by joseph campbell

f6a16a1b6b3aba6a42ba81c25eed6d89.jpg

Joseph Campbell was one of the forefathers and most influential writers during the Golden Age of Science Fiction, working with authors such as Isaac Asimov and Robert Heinlein as chief editor of Astounding Science Fiction magazine.

Which leads to a very nerdy proposition as to how Lana really got her name

Yeah, that's right. Only the biggest science fiction publication company of the 20th century.

omg I have three exams monday I should be studying but hol up

Alright, if you're a genuinely nerdy piece of shit like me, you would recognize how much the instrumental of Get Free sounds like a cheesy scifi serial of the 1970s. It's #iconic

I mean, Lana has said straight up in interviews that she was inspired by vintage scifi in this era, like the original Blade Runner and the Twilight Zone. But how far, Lana

How much of you is vintage scifi, Lana?

omg just realized how the journey ends

"Freedom to live. Freedom to live means freedom from negative emotions which pull the hero away from living in the moment. Negative emotions such frustration, sadness, shame, fear, depression, doubt and despair are banished and instead he is able to celebrate the victory"

She Gets Free. That's where the title came from.
