It's not cohesive and it also does not follow a specific theme despite the artwork and title indicating such, but the album is full of great songs and there's something there for everyone. For me, I made a playlist where I removed Sex Talk, Coconuts, and Unholy. I also replaced Alone with Alone 2.0 while also adding IJWAR (it's not that bad of a song!). I also rearranged the track list in a way that makes sense in my opinion. I feel like people are way too harsh on the album because they knew what could have been with Problematique. The thing is that I think Problematique being scrapped was for the best since that album is fully produced by Dr. Luke plus the title of the album might put more critical eyes on her. While Feed the Beast is a tad generic, at least it's inoffensive and fun enough as a base for her to move forward. I just hope she pulls another moderate hit with King of Hearts so that her label puts less pressure on her for her second album. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

malifruit 121 Posted July 13, 2023 FTR I do love the new songs on FtB! Her strongest work so far in my opinion. The album in my mind is flawless. It's just that the album IRL is not the album in my mind and I feel like I have to be real about that...
