I think next year she'll take a break to be inspired for new material then focus on writing for a while. Probably get involved with some movie soundtracks so fans don't get too thirsty too.
I was pleasantly surprised when she announced HM so soon after UV, I wasn't expecting anything until 2016.

Finally listened to the album for the first time last night! Thanks again @@Bree!
I bought it at Target earlier today and now I'm finishing my second listen.
Though Ultraviolence is still on top and is still amazing, this album's great and I think it's a great follow up. I love the production of Art Deco and the Ultraviolence sound of God Know I Tried. My only least favorite is 24 (sounds like a soundtrack song and I'm just not really interested).

I actually made this like 9 months ago and never got round to posting it cause its one of my favourites. I feel like there is a real vision I had behind this. Inspired by the sound of that guitar riff in Blue Jeans, always makes me think of this sick 90s grunge rock thing. I was trying to imagine how Born To Die the album could have been directed in a more amped up way. It's a manipulation I did like 3 years ago and I made a few more changes including tattooing "Lana" on the imitation Bradley's skin.

I really do think Lana recorded 24 for the new James Bond film, it's the 24th film in the series so the name fits as well as the production. I wish they would have gone with this over Sam Smith, we could have got a really high quality video for it if the film producers got involved.

i hate it when people say the Ride music video is pretentious, ITS A MUSIC VIDEO!! what do you want her to do?? strip and shake her ass like other artists??
the monologues are lana as an artist and lana has said many times that this is her and not pretend, lana is elizabeth grant. the music video and her persona are inspired by americana and scenery and beauty. honestly if yall think its pretentious, then all art is pretentious because all she is doing is expressing herselft through poetry and imagery. write a poem, take an art course or two, go to a museum and look at all the "pretentious" work done by artists who live by their art and make their life a living work of art.
