August or September 2011. Honestly, I don't see myself being a fan of hers forever. She's evolved musically but I don't feel like she's really grown much. I don't see a specific time when I'll stop liking her but I've already started listening to her less and less and unless Ultraviolence is really great, I'll probably get bored of her within the next few years. I mean, I'm still growing up and I'm already finding myself finding a lot of what she's done/written...questionable. Like, I can't see myself doing it, much less a 28 year old. I don't have specific examples right now but yeah, things about her I found really interesting 2 years ago just seem stupid to me now.

I'm not sure if this was said earlier, but the 7 planets are the 7 earth sized planets from the news a few weeks ago they match the images from the articles perfectly. I can't speak on the symbolism but figured I could clear up the questions regarding what they are in a literal sense.

albums used to come out on tuesday for 25 years before the day go changed to friday. i don't think she'll release the album on a tuesday, maybe we'll have a new song or visual.

Guys, so the Honeymoon trailer/sampler was released 10 days before she released the album right? (According to a post a bit further up, I'm forgetful with dates so correct me if I'm wrong). In the LFL trailer she referenced Tuesdays and the moon phases, going from covered to full moon- April 11th is the only Tuesday of the year with a full moon... low-key feeling like we could get this sooner than later and it's all rolling out quickly too in the last few days

    I LOVE HER.
I AM SO HERE FOR THIS.
the film noir vibe, the monologue, the witch aesthetic, Lana being a hologram, the cute faces she makes - i love all of it. it reminds me of my childhood, the scary movies we used to stay up all night to watch, the endless fascination we observed space with, the way everything seemed interesting, new and genuine. she can go on so many paths with this album and i'm sure i'll love all of them. i just love how she brings happiness and warmth with her presence (despite the vintage black and white video and the black clothes) in this video, i love how she titled it 'lust for life' when the world seems to be falling apart. it's the kind of beauty and mystery i need right now. my, she's grown SO MUCH.

i need a lemonade-like album film. or at least a dozen videos. the visuals will be so beautiful. come through, lana!

This trailer is better than everything we got since Tropico, TBH. Also, Lana seems so talkative, outgoing and just... happy in it. I'm so excited for the album.
Also, I lowkey want the album title to be written in her cute handwriting.

This made me laugh. I like the album title though. I relate to it.

On a side note, she went from "Born to Die" to "Lust for Life"

i think the thing about lana i relate the most to is her need for a life, filled with fantasy and oddities, her desire to escape and live in her own world, the way she craves a life that is never mundane, always beautiful, even when it gets dark. her need for freedom and independence as well.

i've followed lana since video games and the combination of addictive music + haunting images won me over. her aesthetic just spoke to me as a young teen and the visuals she presents - from white trash, suburban, kennedy, hollywood, pin-up to the grunge darkness of ultraviolence to the dreaminess of honeymoon - make me feel wistful. it always seemed so glamorous, ya know?
i also get her fascination with philosophy, death, poetry, the american dream, and i relate to her depression.

i absolutely do not relate to her submissiveness in her relationship with men. yikes.

I feel like she's neither. The line "I believe in the country America used to be" from Ride still haunts me.
