Also I hear a lot of people saying this will be BB 2.0 but it’s just based on the photo and I guess the title. But Honeymoon and Lust for Life didn’t scream bangers to me and we go some amazing bops on those albums. Everything we heard and she has said points to more melodic songs too (Mirror/Fenway intro).

Good point. HIAB is a great example.
i don’t love the title of the album…and I definitely hope she has better cover art.
 
she did this with the BB singles and with the NFR singles too. Remember Mariners and VB cover art? Totally different than the album cover…so I guess it’s to say there is so much that will come. I don’t think this is all final (except maybe the album title).

So far, I don't see how anyone can guess with any acuity that TRPWS will be anything like BB or be a BB 2.0—Henry, to me, certainly doesn't sound anything like anything on BB, though yes, we've only heard a snippet—which I like—and we have no idea where the song will go. Look at how different HIAB turned out to be from the snippet, and to a lesser degree, the BB title track too, which I don't care for, though I love the rest of BB except for the wasted opportunity the Ennio Morricone interlude represents.  
 
Though I dislike the title of the new album, I am hopeful there will be some great tracks on it. As I've said here before, with artists today, I only expect to like 2-4 songs tops on any new album, and anything above that is a pure pleasure. This was recently born out again by the new Father John Misty and Ruen Brothers albums.

Yes I agree with that. 
I liked A&W, but I appreciated more the attention it put on her (making ‘Best of’ lists, Grammy nominations, etc).
 
Hoping I’m not wrong because I really don’t want another BB. For me, personally, it’s just my least favorite album. I barely ever listen to it. She also mentioned this album was less self-revealing, so while I understand the aesthetic gives off BB 2.0, I think the reaction is a lot of PTSD from people who didn’t like BB.

I was thinking…even though Henry and few other songs are being released…I’m wondering if she waits to release the “bigger” dare I say more mainstream song right before the release. All of her albums (except for BB) have had one or two radio-friendly songs.

I’ve been gone for awhile. Has there been any update? I thought a few singles were dropping before end of the year she said….

I sometimes think it would be helpful if we had two threads for the new album - one being a facts thread and one being a speculation and wishes thread. It's really hard to keep up, like, for example, suddenly there are 20 posts about greatest hits, so I read 2 pages of posts back to see what it is about (just to find out it was an idea). The answer to the question about why this thread is hot (Henry is coming) was a joke I guess? 😅 Nice, but without a smiley hard to get without checking the last posts of 2 pages to see if there is indeed anything about it. 
 
To sum it up:
Thing is you always see it's hot, you get excited, you even see posts talking about "news" which are actually either speculations, wishes or jokes, but you need to read between 2 to 20 pages to find out. It's disappointing (because it wasn't a fact) and it's getting tiring. Maybe two threads could be a solution? 😊
